Bigger club than us and in London. Huge selling point when it comes to Billionaires.
-
Would keep him, better than Djuricic. Only problem would be his wages.
-
Great stuff. Quick question...Are we not entitled to 3000 tickets for this? I see we've only been given 2627.

Davis; Clyne Toby Fonte Bertrand Morgan Wanyama Mane JWP Tadic Pelle Or......If Morgan isn't fit, possibly go 4-1-3-2, so Wanyama in behind JWP Davis and Tadic, with Mane and Pelle through the centre tearing John O'Shea a new arsehole.
-
Toby is a no brainer. Would pay 10-15m for him. Elia - yes if the price is right, especially if we get in Europa League. Not overly fussed but a decent squad player and wouldn't break the bank. Djuricic - not for me, been poor, no better than what we've got and at the rumoured £10m, wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.
-
Would love Sigurdsson, wanted him badly when he left Spurs. Think he's arguably the best player out the top 4 sides would be a great fit for us and exactly what we need. Can't imagine Swansea letting us have him though unless we pay through the roof.

Sunderland vs Saints W Leicester vs Saints L Saints vs Aston Villa W Man City vs Saints D 7 Points. Leicester and Villa games will be very tough - both in form and scrapping. Obviously City away will be, and we never do particularly well at Sunderland...It all depends if the players can keep motivated to play at the top of their game. Wouldn't surprise me if the season petered out a bit and we didn't pick up many points from those 4.

Fist goal scored by a Saints player in the Northam goal today, since Mane Vs Arsenal I think?! (Burnley was an OG)

Inevitable Spurs winner coming.....

Victor Wanyama tells The Sun that Arsenal want to sign him

Lallana and Lovren went on strike does that count?! Nope, they handed in a transfer request without officially doing it, so they got their cut and still got their way, budgies. -

Wouldn't have happened under Cortese....No idea why these articles appear with quotes, why the feck are they talking about this in the public eye?! -
They certainly can, they'd likely win the league if they signed those two, and a proper keeper.....and possibly a CB.

Stupid from Vic, really poor from him - shouldn't be saying these kind of things in public, who the feck is advising him?! Still can't believe we let Cork go for a derisory £3m, when we could find ourself without Wanyama and Morgan next year. Thats the main reason we've done so well this season, because of those two, would be a big worry if we lose 4 or 5 of our back 7. If we struggle to score goals like we have done this season, and start leaking them in next year, then we might find ourself in a sticky situation, where those 1-0's start turning into 2-1 defeats. -
Will Wood and Armani Little sign professional deals

Was better than McCarthy on Monday I thought. -
I'd think our wages this year might actually be lower!? Although probably not. Gaston and Osvaldo out, along with Boruc. Rickie and Adam must have also been our top earners.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3049099/Southampton-FOURTH-lowest-Premier-League-salary-total-despite-seventh-does-club-fare-wages-table.html We all knew our wage bill was pretty low!

None of your business

Thought Wood was our best defender. Mugabi is an odd one, had some brilliant runs going forward but looked dodgy defending. I thought the whole back four really struggled in the air. I lost count of how many times McCarthy misread the flight and his defensive header didn't go where it was supposed to. They're not going to be amazing, they're all still learning, but promising all the same.
-
Just got back, Hesketh very impressive, thought Gallagher was poor until he want up top. Gazza looked very accomplished, thought our back four looked very dodgy especially McCarthy who I thought was poor,, but a really decent team performance and thoroughly enjoyable evening. Although it's not no 1 target of the youth teams to win trophies, it's always nice

Surely City? Unless they hold off for Guardiola
-
I did notice it says Away Supporters on the website. I assumed that this was actually just home and they cannot change the wording.
-
Who is going then? Heard we've sold about 8,000 tickets so far, pretty good effort. No got mine yet, I'm assuming we can just pay on the gate?
-
Would cost too much money I think, and hasn't been great the second half of the season. Think he's on about £120k/week at the moment.

Was out with his cousin a few weeks ago, mentioned we were looking for a new keeper and he would be a decent backup option! He's not renewing his contract with Man Utd. He was told he'd be Man Utd's second choice keeper at the start of the season, then he barely got on the bench. Will try and ask him if he's heard anything...
