Their biggest threat is the pace of Routledge and Dyer. I'd like to think both Clyne and Bertrand have the pace to nullify that threat.
Despite that, it will be a very tough game. I think 1-1
He's rubbish, we'll take him back for 15m in January!
On a serious note, surprised how many pundits and fans say he's crap defensively, he's absolutely brilliant defensively IMO. Only one who comes close is Ashley Cole. Amount of times you see him somehow manage to get in front of his man when he has someone running at him is ridiculous.
A lot lower than last year IMO. Gaston, Osvaldo, Lambert, Lallana, Lovren off the wage bill, and players in on relatively low Prem wages I would have thought - only big wage may be Alderweireld.
Think it depends if the option comes into play at the end of the season or anytime while he's on loan. Would expect all loan to be negotiated individually depending on what both parties want out of the deal
We always seem to do well against Newcastle. Gaston tore them apart a few years ago, and we spanked them last season.
They'll play on the break, but if we press them then I don't think they'll be able to deal with us. 2-0 saints
Can't really disagree with S-Clarke. Normally speaks a lot of sense. We were in a mess, players leaving left right and centre, Koeman in and then Ralph getting some balls and saying JRod and Morgan going nowhere was the turning point. Looking far stronger now, and pretty chuffed with how it's turned out.
Will still take time and no doubt we will have some bad toothless results, but the squad is stronger now, and we have much more depth. It's a very promising squad and I hope we have enough goals in the team.
