Lets just concentrate on getting to Feb 1st with our squad together, we're not going down, there is very little value in this transfer window - you only have to look at £15m for Jelavic and Long to see that. Osvaldo will come good IMO, Lambert is good enough, and if we get desperate then J-Rod CAN play up there too. Everyone seems to be scrapping round for strikers, so cost will be heightened at the moment. If we keep the squad together that we have now until the end of the season, then I'll be very happy.

Not convinced I agree! Lot of money for them. Also, wasn't Long £7m and Jelavic £7.5m? It's good if they can start scoring goals, but neither have done that in 2013.

He won't start more games? The only games he's not started this season are the away games against the best sides and Man City at home I believe? WHU have Carroll back, have just signed C Cole for another 18 months, are signing L Traore, and also heavily linked with A Gyan, I Belfodil and Rickie himself. Obviously they won't all sign for them, but West Ham play 1 up front, and Allardyce won't not play Carroll if he's fit.

Will be a lot of questions to answer or not answer which will be more likely, but I can't imagine him rocking up to tell everyone he's quit, the club would just announce it like they did yesterday.
