When did I say we had them now? IF we had kept them altogether (which we have a lot better chance now we're in the prem) then we'd have a very handy side. I agree that we won't keep them all, and that ones will move on, but if we bring through a top half prem standard player on a regular basis, then ok the first few we may sell, but we may get longer and longer out of them per player. Lets say Shaw stays with us for 3 seasons, and by then JWP has progressed into a solid prem player, then a few more come through...There is no reason why we cant progress like that. It's long term thinking and probably what the club has in mind. Yes I know that we will bring through some players who aren't good enough, (ATM Lallana ticks that box) but I don't believe that just shelling out £200m is the only way to get into the top 6.

IMO, players who aren't playing on a regular basis for their club shouldn't be playing for England. It may stop players like Chamberlain, Rodwell, Sinclair, throwing away their chance to play everyweek and be happy to just pick up their wage packet from the bench.

Do I think ? No I don't. But it's certainly a possibility depending on who comes through. If we had Chamberlain, Theo, Bale, Lallana, Shaw, then yes, I see no reason why we couldn't do this.

He's a tough tackling CM. So yes In competition with those players mentioned.

If rumours are to believed then the AC Milan away shirt is probably not far off, in Red with white sides. Horrible though. Would be more than happy with a red and white version of the Montreal kit.
