Think he means Danny Graham?
-
Personally think Nige is a better manager than Mcdermott, and will play better football. So can see the logic behind them signing him. We were on for staying up when he left, and bought relatively well, so see no reason why he won't do a good job there next season. He can install the passion and positivity needed to get the momentum for them.

BS has already stated he'd rather have 11 'scrappers' than our team.
-
Between him and Lambert for our best value signing in recent history.
-
Random name, certainly.

Who is John Hughes?!

It's a pointless arguement when someone is just writing on this forum to wind people up.

Whats the situation if Sunderland, Norwich and Newcastle win on Saturday, and Wigan win at Arsenal? Does that put us back in the sh!t ? -
-
Why!?
-
Dale Stephens? Bignall? Who was that centre back who was announced we'd signed, for us to pull the plug on it?
-
He was and always will be sh!t.

Dont think Johnson is anything special. Shaw will have him in his pocket I reckon.

Lambert hasn't scored from open play for 8 games!

Agree, though Rickie has been doing this for the last few seasons. Dropping deeper and running out wide, but it all relies on others running past him. Under Adkins, Gaston, Punch, Lallana were all getting past him which enables him to use his fantastic passing ability to play them in, but if the runs aren't there then it makes us hugely blunt. J-Rod does it sometimes but doesn't do it enough IMO, he likes to drive at the defences picking the ball up from deep. Davis does it on occasions, but doesn't have any pace to get much space, and Lallana has been **** poor this season IMO. The ball just seems to get picked up by Rickie, then laid off to the midfield or pinged out wide to Clyne or Shaw who have made the run forward. -
Villas-Boas "what a wonderful team Pochettino is building"

But since AVB has taken over, his system has been quite similar to ours. Bale plays out right and cuts in quite a lot, (a bit like Puncheon but 10000000 times better at it). Lallana is similar to Holtby/Sigardssun when they play out on the left. Anyway I never said we were like for like, I just said it's a similar system, which it is. Obviously they have better players and a lot more pace than us, and can go outside as well as go inside. -

I think the comment was made because obviously we were the last team to play against them, and he would have been impressed with us - especially players like Clyne and Shaw who were very impressive on Saturday. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a bid from Spurs for Shaw this summer. -
I like Wickham, think he's a decent player, certainly rate him higher than Graham.

Boruc; Clyne Fonte Yoshi Shaw; Cork Morgan; Punch Davis J-Rod; Lambert. Davis; Forren Fox; Lallana Guly JWP; Mayuka

Personally don't think that's very good odds! Wigan are missing half their team, and Arsenal still need a win.

Play from the back, centre backs split, midfielder drops deep to collect the ball, full backs push up, wingers cut in, can mix it up and hit the big man if necessary.... -
Barry only moans about Gaston because he doesn't go to games.

To be fair the way we play is pretty similar to Spurs if you watch them, they've just got better players. And although its easy for him to say that when they won, he still doesn't need to say it at all. I do quite like AVB though, think he got a hard time of it at Chelsea. -
I hope he stays. Will be fantastic next season IMO
-
Punch to start with 2 others, probably Davis and J-Rod. Lallana is barely contributing at the moment.
