Can understand a pitch invasion if we have to get a result on the last day for an outcome, i.e. staying up, going up, getting into europe (maybe), etc. But not just a midtable finish. I hope it doesn't happen.
See no reason to do it this season.
Maybe if we needed to stay up on the last day, but it should be a relaxed fixture with no worries and a real appreciation at the end. Players haven't been able to do a lap of honour since Pahars left have they?
Ha it must be fun being you, either being ITK or easily winding people up! He must be on a fortune...can't see him agreeing to come here. We'll see though. You have an unarguable track record!
I would go as far as I expect us to win...we're playing well, we're on form, they play half decent football and missing one of their best players, also in poor form.
I think we're certainly clear favourites!
It is a good idea, and there are 'late developers'...but on the whole, if kids haven't made it by 20, they'll probably not be good enough to play in the Premiership.
I agree with the above, just seems a real lack of thought gone into it. I don't agree with the 'I'm a better fan than you' BS. But for someone who has been to every game of the season, but couldnt afford a ST at the start of the season, would have the same priority as someone who has been to watch Man Utd at home and Pompey last season. Something not quite right there.
Barca just can't defend from set pieces. They normally can't but especially without Puyol they struggled. Normally they just keep the ball and don't give away any corners, but they really struggled last night against the more powerful and high pressing Bayern side. Everytime Messi and Iniesta got on the ball, Bayern just ruffled them up and got physical with them. Normally they can pass their way out and Messi normally gets away from players trying to break his runs, but he couldn't last night and looked half fit. Shame about the score though as it makes the 2nd leg pretty pointless.
Reading really did f*ck it with the fixtures that they had left when this thread was started, as did QPR. And it's interesting to read through again peoples reactions to each weekend! Who said the football fan was fickle
