  1. Well regardless of him having a few dodgy games away from home, he's still really talented and was fantastic first half vs Everton. Plus it's better he's fit and atleast on the bench than not even in the squad surely ?
  2. Gaston still nowhere to be seen though...
  3. Jesus christ, you're a complete tool. Firstly, it's not like we were on another teams forum boasting about how we'd signed world class players and be fighting for Europe. Secondly how you can say that Boruc (free), Steve Davis (£500k), and Yoshida (£2m) weren't fantastic signings for the costs. Yoshida is a superb CB for that kind of money. Gaston has shown flashes of brilliance but is 23 and still getting used to the league. Still a talent though and he's chipped in a few goals. And J-Rod? Huge talent, hasn't even played that much and when he has he hasn't played much up top, but still got 6 goals this season. He's 23 and not getting any worse is he? Sorry, but we don't run on such short term planning as QPR as we actually have some potential to be a good side in a few years, rather than just brining in another squad in the summer, and then another one in January! I would imagine you're probably paying players more who are sat in your reserves or out on loan, more than our whole squad in earning. We've got a few academy boys in the squad on a regular basis? I couldn't name one player who has come through the QPR academy? Do you even have one ?!
  4. Well our trusty journo Nixon, said that it was an odd deal as it hadn't gone through either manager, It went from chairman to chairman with no agents involved.
  5. I didn't see the Sunderland so can't comment on that, but has impressed me when he has played. Not sure he is capable of playing the lone forward role just yet though although maybe with Gaston in behind and our high pressing would suit his game better. When he came on against Man Utd we just lumped balls up to him and he's not that kind of player. Also it was mentioned that when we signed him that Cortese bought him straight from YoungBoys without Adkins knowing about him or any agents being involved. Not sure if this stopped him from giving him a proper chance or not, but I hope he comes good.
  6. Exactly the same as me then !!
  7. Guess it depends if they're loans of free agents on short term contracts. Would be surprised if they haven't though...? I don't follow them enough to look tbh. This gives a bit more info on them. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/portsmouth-fc/transfers/verein_1020.html
  8. http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=277234 Some half decent comments on here from them. Some are worried about playing us, some are not ! Would go with Boruc; Clyne Yoshi Forren Shaw; Cork Morgan; Lallana Davis Rodriguez; Lambert. Davis JWP Jos Puncheon Richardson Mayuka Gaston
  9. It's certainly nice to have options. I'm still struggling to see how J-Rod, Gaston and Lambert can all play in the same side though.
  10. Or maybe they just have a huge car park and there are loads of spots free. Or maybe he was drink driving to training this morning,
  11. He's a lot better option to have off the bench that De Ridder, and it looks liike maybe Isgrove might be getting a chance in the squad over the rest of the season. I think Mayuka is ok, he just needs a bit of playing time. 3 times I've seen him this season he's looked a handful. (Spurs (h), WHU (a), Villa (h)).

  13. @SouthamptonFC: Emmanuel Mayuka is looking to make up for lost time after returning home from the African Cup Of Nations http://t.co/5eDI0vE9 #saintsfc
  14. Got to say I'm surprised a 'relegation wage clause' isn't a compulsory thing. If it was added into a contract along with a 'relegation release clause' then surely the player would be happy enough to sign it?
  15. Think it is Lloyd Isgrove? The guy that came on at Leeds and changed the game..sort of. Good to see Luke training. Who is the coach shouting orders? I thought they were all foreign?
  16. What a tosser, I hate people who park like that. Nice motor though.
  17. Think we can get something against Liverpool and Chelsea though. We're at home, I certainly think we'll get 1 win out of those four games. (City, Toon, Chelsea and Liverpool)
  18. QPR and Norwich ?
  19. Well on the predictor I had us losing Saturday and against Newcastle and still finishing 11th
  20. This is my predictions... Spurs Vs Newcastle Draw Chelsea v Wigan Home Norwich v Fulham Draw Stoke v Reading Draw Sunderland v Arsenal Away Swansea v QPR Away Southampton v Man City Away Aston Villa v West Ham Home Man Utd v Everton Home Liverpool v West Brom Home Ideally... Chelsea v Wigan Home Norwich v Fulham Draw Stoke v Reading Home Swansea v QPR Home Southampton v Man City Home Aston Villa v West Ham Away
  21. Ha I'll have to remember to take my own ! In some ways I want it to rain, as it'll be a better race, and in someways I dont cos I'll get wet !
  22. He brought in a lot of sh*t when all we needed was one or two players of quality. Jacobsson, Bernard, Davenport - all absolutely dreadful footballers.Probably on high wages as Bernard came from Newcastle, Davenport from Spurs and Jacobsson from wherever he came from.
  23. We're Saints fans.....maybe only TDD, Dalek and Alpine would put us to be relegated. Only human to big up your own side isn't it? You have confidence that you're team is going to do well. My predictions don't take into account w4nky individual errors which no doubt we'll still have a couple but we're capable of getting a result against anyone in the league IMO.
  24. Thanks for the info. The elephant campsite was the one I have come across which seems the best. Is there evening entertainment around the area? Have seen quite a few people mention fireworks + bands that perform? What day do you arrive? We were thinking of going over on the Thursday or even the Wednesday and staying for a night somewhere on the way probably either Brugges or Brussels? And when do you leave? We might do the same thing on the way back but not sure what happens on the Sunday evening? Sounds like a top weekend anyway, and very much looking forward to it if we do end up going.
