  1. Ha I'll have to remember to take my own ! In some ways I want it to rain, as it'll be a better race, and in someways I dont cos I'll get wet !
  2. He brought in a lot of sh*t when all we needed was one or two players of quality. Jacobsson, Bernard, Davenport - all absolutely dreadful footballers.Probably on high wages as Bernard came from Newcastle, Davenport from Spurs and Jacobsson from wherever he came from.
  3. We're Saints fans.....maybe only TDD, Dalek and Alpine would put us to be relegated. Only human to big up your own side isn't it? You have confidence that you're team is going to do well. My predictions don't take into account w4nky individual errors which no doubt we'll still have a couple but we're capable of getting a result against anyone in the league IMO.
  4. Thanks for the info. The elephant campsite was the one I have come across which seems the best. Is there evening entertainment around the area? Have seen quite a few people mention fireworks + bands that perform? What day do you arrive? We were thinking of going over on the Thursday or even the Wednesday and staying for a night somewhere on the way probably either Brugges or Brussels? And when do you leave? We might do the same thing on the way back but not sure what happens on the Sunday evening? Sounds like a top weekend anyway, and very much looking forward to it if we do end up going.
  5. Only had us beating QPR, West Ham, Swansea, WBA, Stoke, and drawing against Norwich, Liverpool, Chelsea, Sunderland. Losses against Spurs, Reading, City, Newcastle and
  6. Whats the chances eh ?! haha Maybe a tad too bias!
  7. You say that but I don't think he was bad in either the WHU or Spurs games. He might not have been fit, but he was no worse than the others. Thankfully he has come good anyway. Gazza has huge potential though, he did have some really good moments as well.
  8. I only really got a ST to guarantee going away this season. Thats the only upside.
  9. No need to rush, I'm sure the club will reassess in the summer, once we know what division we are in. His wages are probably pretty large considering his pedigree and probably unaffordable in the NPC.
  10. @SouthamptonFC: Mauricio Pochettino speaks to the national press. #saintsfc http://t.co/UDUMlQGQ

  14. @SouthamptonFC: Mauricio: "We're always worried when players go away with their national teams but we have to accept the rules and adapt to them." #saintsfc
  15. @SouthamptonFC: Pochettino says a number of players are recovering from knocks, but he can't yet confirm if they'll be available this weekend. #saintsfc
  16. £700 is tragic for any football club. It's a hobby, yes its a lifestyle aswell but can't justify it. People are being priced out of football enough. I certainly wouldn't renew if it went to that, as I just simply dont have the money.
  17. Wouldn't be surprised if renewals were £600, new buys £650. Can't see it being much more than that.
  18. Does our AAP sponsorship finish this summer? Would be interesting to see if we renew and go with a local name which is what was announced at the time, or whether we go for a big money spinning sponsor.
  19. No need to go up, they're enough as they are!
  20. Won't be confident until it's mathmatically confirmed, but my guestimate would be around 36/37 would be enough.
  21. We get a new clock, and they get their name on the big screens. And they timekeep injury time, goals, subs, and anything else I guess.
  22. Well they're not used for anything else!!
  23. I don't think I've ever heard of Eterna...
  24. They'll just get more neutrals to go there that can't be bothered to watch their actual teams. Good idea as it makes more money. I do agree completely with Tokyo. If tickets are cheap as kids, you get hooked. Not even just to the club, that comes with the more games you go to. But as a kid as just something to do, with your mates, which you love. Before you know it you're a 'fan'. Get them young you have them for life.
  25. But we do score a lot of goals from crosses, especially the one to the backpost to Lambert. Seems crazy that teams still can't defend that, when he's been doing it for us for years! Do agree that the swapping of positions will skew the results. I guess with the way we play with 'inside forwards' and then full backs bombing on its ok. Just need to be more clinical I feel.
