This is what my mate just put on facebook..he's just got back. What can I say an experience I will never forget! Tells people to just 'not get caught if you use someone else's ST' his words! Told us poyet was just bitter and jelous of Adkins because he got the job and poyet didn't. Sorting out the Internet page next year hopefully when contract ends. Is going to sign hooverfield permanent in jan. Rumours of Owen are rubbish. Never put in a bid of 6.5 for roddreguiz cos he's not worth that. Sad chamberlain left but was family persuasion. Got in contact to Plymouth chairman to try buy every saints fan at plymouth a beer last season but Plymouth said no and he argued it and they wouldn't allow it. Great guy!

I understand where NickG is coming from, although we still have the right to question things as nothing is ever perfect and there are always ways of improving. I don't think you'll find many Saints fans not thankful for what Liebherr/Cortese have brought and done to the club...but there will always be room for improvement and the issues with away games is very annoying for someone like me, who mainly goes to the away matches.

Well I was actually searching for David Connolly's goal vs Boro so I could send it to my Boro mate via facebook. And this was about the 10th thread so I had a flick through. Very interesting to read through some of the comments on this thread.

I mentioned this to their chairman on Twitter not expecting a response but actually got 1 ! Me: Heard Grant McCann linked with Southampton? 'DMAC': As was CMS who they offered 600k for over 3 years...Can't see any truth in this one to be fair. Me: When was that? This summer? 'DMAC': Last January. Thought people would be interested though all pretty pointless information!!

He's a wide midfielder, not a striker. Might be why.

I'm quite surprised how many fans on their board are saying that the skates are a bigger club.....thats just a ridiculous statement.

Towards the end of the season they generally are harder to come by. i.e. Brentford/Plymouth/Brighton last year.

He has been nowhere near Fonte's 'equal'....Hooiveld has been by far our best CB so far this year. Was underwhelmed when we originally signed him on loan, but what a cracking piece of business he has turned out to be. Fitted in superbly. Am surprised the deal wasn't already arranged should we have wanted to buy him at the end of the loan deal. i.e. Chaplow.
