Exactly what I was thinking. If we wanted him, why did we only offer 3m for him? If they rejected it and we were happy to pay more, we wasnt that then offered ? Seems a strange story to come out a week after the transfer window closes.
I think he would come here, I think we would definitely be interested...BUT, I can't see us signing him due to already having about 30 players vying for the left back position!
Why???
Early goal and I can see it being a rout...longer it stays 0-0 the more frustrated we'll get and they might get one on the break as we push forward. Hope we get that early goal so they have to come at us.
I was expecting to be but have managed to twist the arm of one of my Liverpool supporting mates as long as i paid for his ticket ! The things I do for Southampton !
For me....No to signatures, they're just messy and annoying and theres never anything worth reading in them, just have to wade through them to get the what the thread is about.
2nd in the league against one of the biggest clubs in the league, playing the best football we've played...probably in my lifetime...GET YOURSELVES DOWN TO ST MARYS ON SATURDAY !!!
It's not an 'emergency loan'. You can get loads in anytime during the loan window which i THINK opens a week after the transfer window closes (tomorrow?). I think they have changed the rules from the time where we had to get Kasey Keller in on loan in 2005 where that was a loan outside of the transfer window.
I might be wrong though. I would have thought we could do with another striker who is happy to not be first choice and possibly a centre back.
