Shocking kits from Hummel this year, I was really hopeful when they took the deal, that we’d get some really great kits, but the white one is woeful, the blue one looks like a rugby league shirt, and that green/blue design is awful. A big shame.

£50m+ for KWP if that’s what Cucarella is being valued at. I think he’s a superb player but this is our model, he probably wouldn’t compete with James, as it sounds like James is moving to RCB anyway. I’m more worried that we currently have 1 fit LB and 1 fit RB, of which one may leave. This deal needs to be on Saints’ terms if it’s going to happen, with a decent RB replacement lined up. He’s really important to us.

If you buy them on a match by Match basis they’re much cheaper.

I think you’re setting your sights far too high. We shouldn't finish above the “big 6”, we probably aren’t going to finish above Newcastle, West Ham, Leicester. Top 10 would be an outstanding season.

I must be missing something with Cucarella. I think he’s a decent player but nothing more. £50m?! Bonkers money for him. Would surely make him the most expensive full back in premier league history after Cancelo?!

He was pretty awful up until that point. Then we played Chelsea at home, and he took the piss out of John Terry, and then went to the ACON. There is no doubt someof our fans were OTT with comments regarding him, but he did look miles out of his depth at the start of that season. Some patience was definitely needed.

I disagree. Armstrong is anonymous at this level, Adams has talent and I’m a big fan of his, but he’s not a clinical striker. We need someone who can come and score goals, and on occasions make something out of nothing. We’re going to be relying on the defence for clean sheets to be able to grind out 1-0 wins.
