I've loved his energy and his passion, and his shithousery, but as a first team player he just made far too many mistakes to be taken seriously as a first choice defender. Let's be honest, he's probably been here longer than he thought he would have been and should have been. Best of luck to him though if it is true. £7.5m is fine.

FFP though isn't it, They sell a player for big money, especially someone like Gordon who had no transfer fee, they sell him and it's all profit, They only have to take a % of the new players transfer fee this year. I'm not really sure where they are from a cash perspective, but despite them being a bit of a mess financially, I think this is why you're still seeing them throw money around, hasn't been any bids for Che supposedly though. He wants a new contract, and club aren't discussing contracts until end of transfer window.

Interesting...I believe he moved back to cornwall, as his missus wanted to as they're both from down there, so I was told he wanted to play for someone closer to home. so to move to Watford is an interesting one. Think he'll do ok there though, but if they get promoted again sure he'll be happy being a squad player.

Yup - think we've been a better side under Ralph with Redmond in the team, than when he isn't.

To call Redmond a bad signing is incredibly harsh. He might not be playing at the level we had hoped he would be, but he cost what, £12m, won player of the season, and didn't he get the most assists for us last season, despite not playing much? I'd keep him as a squad player for sure. I think he deserves a bit more respect than he gets on here.

Haven’t we been through this small squad size thing before? And we ended up having to play a load of kids who were nowhere near ready and got pummelled?! Every club needs some squad players, and players like Redmond, Elyounoussi, Stephens are probably fine as squad players. As long as they’re happy not plying every week. I find it baffling that we could end up having no players with any experience on the bench, and only having kids who are L1/2 level.
