Deli Ali off to Besiktas. Everton not even paid for him yet
-
Van Dijk mk II Tosser. Leicester have just paid him to be injured for a year, and got him back to full fitness, repays them with this. think it's really poor form from Fofana personally
-
Would be a bit of a gamble letting him go, but I do understand it. We don't really have anyone else like him though.
-
Aren't Girona owned by Man City too? Maybe something linked there.
-
Seems very "saga-like"
-
Either cash flow, or FFP purposes..
-
You'd think so, but maybe they were desperate to be rid of Abramovich. It certainly is a bit dodgy..

These Newcastle owners tighter than Mike Ashley. Maybe it's because they also own Chelsea
-
As in we're still keen to bring him back, and he's keen to return. I think something will happen with him towards the end of the window, once Chelsea spunk another £50m+ on a striker
-
I don't agree.
-
Think it was €22m ~ £19.2m at the time.
-
But you're not allowed to do that because of FFP. I know it is a load of bullshit and it has loopholes galore, but you can see right now that Everton and Leicester are struggling because of it, and Newcastle are certainly being a bit more careful than I think most people were expecting them to be, due to FFP.

I feel like a saga has to go on for more than a day, Like a Rudi Skacel, or a Gaston Ramirez type saga.
-
Dont they include inflation / currency fluctuations? Mane is £10.5m, Vestergaard was £18m and Ings was £18m, Carillo was £20m I think...
-
03…probably 18/19 years old then.
-
-
Assume thats an FFP thing catching them up? Vardy linked with Man Utd today, and Tielemans still expected to go to Arsenal, Fofana possibly still going to Chelsea. Can see a few outs, and then reinvesting, a bit like Everton to get around the FFP issue
-
Thats the one, mishit it into the top corner.

Corrected it for you...

He was part of that team that went up to Anfield and won under Puel, and he did brilliantly. I've loved his energy and his passion, and his shithousery, but as a first team player he just made far too many mistakes to be taken seriously as a first choice defender. Let's be honest, he's probably been here longer than he thought he would have been and should have been. Best of luck to him though if it is true. £7.5m is fine.

You can't have it both ways. I'm not a fan of 5atb, but you can't say its the reason we got beat by Burnley and Liverpool. but we beat Arsenal through just luck...
-
I'm not convinced he was trying to do it, but it's certainly nice to have someone with a bit of composure. Agree he needs to start every week, certainly atm.

More likely to be Delap than Iheanacho.
