Pretty sure we only want him on loan. Pretty much no chance we buy him IMO.

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool

Guessing the other medical was Aribo then. -
Can’t say I know much about him, and I don’t believe you can look at too much in the scottish league is such a poor standard, but £10m in a position we clearly need some signings, he looks an upgrade for sure. Reminds me a bit of Olise

I think if we were to spend that kind of money on a player, it would be someone like Broja, young, proven in this league and already been on loan. Should have a large sell on value in 3/4 years. I heard the club will spend that kind of money if its the right player, but it will be v rare.

Sounds about right, I heard there are 2 medicals booked this week... 3 more signings expected (includes Lavia), and then we have to sell to buy. Heard Bednarek, Stephens, Djenepo, Walcott have all been made available for transfer. Also heard we're looking at trying out a 4321 formation this pre-season, probably hence the lack of striker signings...supposedly Ralph is a big fan of A Armstrong and wants to keep him this summer. It's a gamble IMO. V interesting summer this. -

We're a bottom 5 squad, anything above 15 is a decent season, and top half would be absolutely outstanding. Anywhere between 10-14th would still be a very good season IMO. -
Thought that was to help with FFP over that period, but still thought they were skint. Ballsy especially given the fact they claim covid cost them a lot more than it actually did…
-
Not sure where Everton are getting £25m from? They’re skint.
-
Ridiculous. How is this allowed in this sport.

Standing areas to be allowed next season

Will this happen at Saints? Where are we with this project? Heard nothign out the club that I can remember. -
It's different, for sure. Not a big fan personally, but I generally don't buy them anyway.
-
Don’t we already know one is green/brown and the other is blue with links to waves in the design? these were mock-ups based on the info.

Loved having him. Had a few fantastic seasons under Koeman. Not the greatest footballer of all time, but deserves a huge amount of respect. Gave me probably my best moment as a saints fan. Best of luck in the future Shane, always will get a great reception. We’ve had better footballers who have been far worse than you.

He's still injured, hasn't returned to Staplewood yet. They're concerned he might not be fit for the start of the season.
-
He's not back yet...
-
Redmond, Armstrong also in videos today, so possibly all back now.
-
I think we probably need 2, and atleast 1 starting striker. Long way to go of this window though, but only 5 weeks til the first game of the season...

Don't think he's likely to be anywhere near as big as Wanyama, he was an absolutely wall. -
Pretty sure there isn't much the club can do to keep them, they don't have contracts, they can go whereever they want. It just ends up at a tribunal if the clubs can't agree a deal I think. I don't think the club can just turn down offers from newcastle, as they dont have to make one.

Not uncommon for the kids who are highly rated, and tehrefore probably earn the most for their age, are they ones that don't apply themselves and disappear. I hope for Diblings sake, he can keep on the straight and narrow, becuase he's clearly a big talent.
-
Wasn’t Dibling on the bench a few times at the end of the season? Certainly was Brentford away. I wouldn’t want us to offer him that kind of money anyway, so if that’s what he’s in the game for then feel free to leave.

Shame

Not sure why you'd bother going there as a youth player. Youth players wont be of interest for 5-10 years. It'll all be about making the first team capable of competing for Champs league places.
