My larger concern is that’s us trying to find a replacement for JWP, or he’s included in talks swap deal with spurs

I’d take Fredericks on a 2 years contract tbh. Be decent backup, quick. Probably got a bit unfortunate that Coufal was so impressive this season.

Interestingly I got told he was never bothered about discussing anything with Davis, Watson and Fleming, and only ever really bothered about Kitzbichler’s opinion.

I’ve been told he’s got first 12 games next season to prove he’s the right man to take us forward. He stayed by the skin of his teeth as the saying goes.

True, but nothing so far suggests they’re ploughing huge amounts into transfer budgets and there have been comments from various that the model won’t change. Time will only tell. But it will be a bonus if we suddenly find £100m to spend. I’m not expecting it

The premier league is getting too rich for us definitely. Teams that have a higher capability of spending than us: "Big 6", West Ham, Newcastle, Leicester, Wolves, Villa, Palace, Brighton, Teams that we might be able to compete with: Bournemouth, Fulham, Forest / Huddersfield, Leeds, Brentford, Everton. However, you could argue Forest/Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Fulham, will all spend more money than us this summer, and Everton have got a better squad right now. Brentford might not spend big amounts but they're incredibly well run, and have a real team ethic. Leeds will have a bunch of players back from injury, and likely will spend. We are rightly going to be very high in the relegation stakes next year, and highly likely the more years go past, without proper investment, we will find ourselves out of this league. Will be very interesting to see how Fulham go about this summer, given their last few visits to the premier league.

WTF, you've got to be living on a different planet to think we'd have a chance of signing Kalvin Phillips, and he's bang average anyway.

I think KWP can feel hard done by, but at the same time, he's been part of a defence that has let in goals for fun this season, and there are loads of other options, not a surprise. Thats a 27 man squad, I wonder which ones would get cut if this was the World Cup squad of 23 players. Depending on system...you'd expect it to be something like the below: GK x 3 CB's x 4 FB x 4 CMs x 4 AMs/Wingers x 5 ST x 3

Think with Valery it was more than he was useless at RB so tried him in a different place, and I think he's not been bad at all when he's played right of a back 3 this season. He is however a very limited player. Djenepo has just been pretty terrible and never got any better. He was the wrong signing at the time.

McNeil is an old fashioned out and out winger. We don't play with wingers, and he'd cost a bomb, I can't see that one happening unless we sign a new manager and change system, which looks very unlikely.

Maybe we can buy them on the cheap, and loan them to Levski.

But he did exactly that, when we beat Arsenal. Unfortunately, we then tried to play the same way against Burnley and they just bullied us, so Ralph reverted to what he "knew". I don't disgree with your overall point, that we have long runs of terrible form, but I do believe the players deserve a lot of the blame for that. They're so mentally fragile, heads go down, and we stop playing as a team and believing in the system.

How do you know that?

Not sure how many, but they definitely out some of our allocation on sale to home fans. I'd guess about 2,000.

So we let in 67 goals this season, without a 9-0. Take the "freak" 9-0 out and take the other 37 games last season, we conceded an avg of 1.6 goals per game After the first 11 games, we'd conceded a total of 12 goals, or an average of 1.09 per game. In the following 27 games, we've conceded a total of 55, or an average of 2.04 goals per game. You're never going to stand a chance of getting results if you're letting that many goals in. Not quite sure what changed really, after those first set of games. I'd say we've been worse this season defensively than last season, apart from that early run of games.
