Ward-Prowse.

JWP has got to be £100m bracket now, especially given Rice is being talked about £150m. Which is obscene btw. I wouldn’t accept £60m for him, no chance.

He’s been incredibly bitter since he was dropped and let go. Bloke is a c*nt

Michael Obafemi - Official: Signs for Swansea
Saint Garrett replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Seems to have really found his feet at Swansea. Personally think he could do with another full season at that level, but heard Brighton are keeping tabs. Hopefully we have a sell on clause. Swansea fans raving about his second half to the season. -
Not a surprise, it's what it looked like as soon as it happened. I wonder whether his earlier knee injury this season has impacted this happening, and I wonder if he's been overplayed this season.
-
Looked like an ACL for me, so 6-9 months. Gutted for him if it is. Better balance once Perraud came on, played with much more intensity second half, and Salisu settled a bit too, looked really shaky first half. Honourable mentions to Tella, Redmond, Adams and obviously JWP. He’s unbelievable
-
We always do. They're actually trying this half too which helps...
-
Was never going to happen, already made one.
-
I've always been Ralph in, but think there may be a parting of the ways this summer....
-
Absolutely shite first half, tactically an absolute mess at the back, very worrying really. Forster, Romeu, Salisu, Bednarek, are having absolute shockers, and bugger all threat going forward. We're making them look like Man City here....dross. Thankfully Prowsey has given us a glimmer of hope at HT. Play like that again second half and we have no chance of rescuing a point.
-
For me; back to 4222, play on the front foot, aggressive high press. Salisu, Adams and Redmond must start., Forster; KWP Lyanco Sali Perraud; Romeu JWP; Armstrong Redmond; Adams Broja Brojas last chance to look arsed before I’d drop him. Been useless for months, but got no one else.
-
Yeah. I saw that was an option. Changing at Clapham seems like a no go
-
Anyone know whether you're better off going into Waterloo, drinking Centrally and get the tube out to Acton Town or alternative? Or what the other options are getting off at Clapham? Tried to have a look, but seems to just give you the options as if it's a normal day, and then says, they won't run like that...

Fraser Forster - Official: Signs for Spurs
Saint Garrett replied to stevy777_x's topic in The Saints
He signed a new contract last summer. The club decided to keep Macca and move Forster on, now we have a problem because Forster is our best keeper, but we're pretty stuck with Macca. IMO, if we have the funds to be able to bring in a better keeper than Fraser, alongside all the other positions that take a priority, then I'm all for letting him go. If not, it wouldn't be the end of the world if Fraser is our no 1 next season. -
Sold out apparently. A couple of mates of mine just missed out this morning. If anyone has a couple going they'd be very much appreciated! I can imagine they'll be gold dust though.
-
Doesnt he miss the City midweek game?
-
Did the same thing at Man Utd, and it worked brilliantly.
-
Is that why Salisu was rested at the weekend ?
-
Martina was first choice for a while, Cedric was appalling for us at times. Rubbish player. Doesn’t deserve booing though.
-
Forster; KWP Lyanco Salisu Perraud; Romeu JWP; Elyounoussi Redmond; Broja Adams Give Stu a rest in advance of the weekends game. Redmond looked really bright when he came on against Arsenal. Tough decision to make between Bednarek and Salisu, personally, I think Salisu is a better player.
-
Only on loan...?
-
His movement is pretty good, and he's full of energy. He's also probably our quickest forward, and highly likely they'll have Thiago Silva and Rudiger at the back, so could cause them problems. Adams is more than capable of scoring goals. Armstrong is woeful, and Long is old. Redmond for whatever reason is out of favour. There isn't anyone else
-
Think it’ll be Tella and Adams up top Saturday. And I’m fine with that.
-
Redmond I think has a squad place as long as he wants to be here. He's not a bad player without being anything like exceptional. Moussa just hasn't shown enough development, possibly he could go to Celtic for a year or two on loan. Seems like a very popular person in the dressing room, and a bundle of laughs, but he needed to show some real promise this season, and he just hasn't. His last good game was probably that home game against Chelsea last season!? Theo, makes no sense why we offered him a 2 year deal if we were going to try get rid of him after 1 year. Would leave us needing to bring in atleast 2 "wide" players. There is some positive here though, as it would suggest that Dragan is willing to stick his hand in his pocket. £15m for Tete would seem a good start.

4-2-3-1.... Picking a 25 man squad. Sure I've missed a few but this is my squad off the bat. very tough to leave Davis out the first XI given how important he was for us, but I'd have Lallana over him in that position. --------------Forster--------------- KWP----Alderweireld----VVD----Bertrand -------Schneiderlin-Wanyama---------- Mane----------Lallana--------Rodriguez ----------------Ings---------------- Subs/Reserves: Boruc, Macca, Lovren, Fonte, Shaw, Clyne Davis, JWP, Romeu, Tadic, Armstrong Pelle, Lambert, Gabbiadini
