Forster; KWP Lyanco Salisu Perraud; Romeu JWP; Elyounoussi Redmond; Broja Adams Give Stu a rest in advance of the weekends game. Redmond looked really bright when he came on against Arsenal. Tough decision to make between Bednarek and Salisu, personally, I think Salisu is a better player.

His movement is pretty good, and he's full of energy. He's also probably our quickest forward, and highly likely they'll have Thiago Silva and Rudiger at the back, so could cause them problems. Adams is more than capable of scoring goals. Armstrong is woeful, and Long is old. Redmond for whatever reason is out of favour. There isn't anyone else

Redmond I think has a squad place as long as he wants to be here. He's not a bad player without being anything like exceptional. Moussa just hasn't shown enough development, possibly he could go to Celtic for a year or two on loan. Seems like a very popular person in the dressing room, and a bundle of laughs, but he needed to show some real promise this season, and he just hasn't. His last good game was probably that home game against Chelsea last season!? Theo, makes no sense why we offered him a 2 year deal if we were going to try get rid of him after 1 year. Would leave us needing to bring in atleast 2 "wide" players. There is some positive here though, as it would suggest that Dragan is willing to stick his hand in his pocket. £15m for Tete would seem a good start.

4-2-3-1.... Picking a 25 man squad. A lot of them are moving that way. Macca lives there, this Stephens has also moved up there. Quite a few others too. Steven Davis still commutes to Rangers from Winchester. It's not a big deal.

Think he's still class, and would give us better options than we currently have. Maybe he'd get a "new lease of life" back with us, If the finances are right, we'd be mad to not be interested IMO. Each to their own though...

I know Saints fans joke about Bale, but it would be a great move for him and us if money wasn't really an object. His focus is on the world cup so he just needs to be training and playing. He's been linked with a move to Cardiff from the little I've read.

I'd quite like a rehash of one of these...whats the chances? Probably need to work out what 2022 is an anniversary of to start with. 10 years since promotion? Personally, not a massive fan of the half/half, part pinstripe design.

There is one thing bankrolling a club, but bankrolling 3/4/5 clubs etc in my opinion isn’t what football is about. Especially when you create a “brand” and then change those clubs to fit in with the brand. To clarify, there is no evidence that Sport Republic will ever do that, but I don’t agree with the concept. I don’t think it should be allowed. Why do I still follow football…? because it has always been a huge part of my life. I don’t have to agree with every part of it.

Not a fan of it at all tbh. I don't like hugely wealthy owners coming into the premier league and completely distorting the "norm", but when you can go and buy clubs and rip up their history, I think it shouldn't be allowed. I'm not asking you to agree with me.

Whole thing is ridiculous. You shouldn’t be able to own more than one club. And brand them all the same. I know our owners have done it, but doesn’t mean I agree with it.

He is dreadful.

They'll be full throttle and if we don't play to a level, we could easily find ourselves 2-0 down quite quickly. Need to bounce back from last few games which have been pretty woeful. Decision to be made at the back. Bednarek's attitude vs Stephens incompetency? or Valery? Would just verge towards Bednarek. Hopefully Lyanco will be back soon, I saw he's back in training. I'm growing more fond of him, certainly wasn't his biggest fan. Seems to be a good fit for the system and certainly now worthy of a place in our squad.

He may not be the best manager in the world, and he does have his fruastrations, but I absolutely love the bloke, and think he's just such a great fit for our club. We're lucky to have him.

This needs to be sung for the rest of the season, and he probably will deserve player of the season too.

He played quite a lot between Villa (H) - start of November - and Wolves (A) - Mid Jan, where he didn't have a great game, and then he got injured in the next game and been out since. Assuming he is back in the next few weeks, and I have absolutely no idea how bad his injury is, I would expect him to be atleast third choice, possibly starting instead of Bednarek or Stephens.

Completely agree. First season in a new league and new country, and one he doesn't speak the home language of. I think we'd be a far better side with Lyanco in it rather than Bednarek and Stephens. I think he'll be our first choice CB next season.
