  1. Never thought he'd make a competent defensive player, but no doubt he's turned into a decent CB. Always thought he'd end up as either a RWB or RM/RW. Clearly having to go forward and defend is too much for him to deal with, so when he only has to focus on defending he's been very impressive. Another player that Ralph has made infinitely better....
  2. Will be tough, they are a team full of decent players, but if we play well, we have a great chance. The benefit of resting a load last night is that we should be back to full strength at the weekend. Ralph mentioned last night that Salisu has a small issue, but hopefully he's back at the weekend. Only decision is the full backs for me. Happy with any combination 2 of the 3. Personally would go KWP / Perraud, but think Tino will start. Forster KWP Bednarek Salisu Perraud Armstrong Romeu JWP Elyounoussi Adams Broja
  3. So, he’s confirmed hes selling…
  4. If we want to win the game, we'll stick out our best side. I wouldn't mind the odd change, i.e. Willy for Forster, Stephens for Bednarek, Perraud for Tino, Redmond for Armstrong if Stuey is struggling with 3 games in a week. but I will be pissed off if we start with Long, Walcott, Valery, Armstrong, etc. I understand we need to rotate a few, but they are a very good side with better depth than us. If we rotate too much they'll win, and it will be a rubbish evening.
  5. Would go with our strongest team possible, which is probably the same team injuries depending. Perraud, Stephens possibly, Broja caused them all sorts of problems at their place so hopefully he can have a good game.
  6. West Ham have sold out now, plenty in the home end too supposedly
  7. Thought it was replays from this round onwards?
  8. Won't be an easy game, but if we play well then we will win. We owe them one, after than car crash of a performance at their place. Armstrong and Elyounoussi to cause them all sorts of problems breaking from midfield. Would be nice to give someone a good tonking, but no doubt, if the team get complacent, they could nick a win. Get the job done boys.
  9. Was sung quite a few times at Spurs and Utd, but not sure people know all the words yet...
  10. It is annoying, I have the same issue when I want to bring a mate with me, I always have to call the TO.
  11. Isn't it basically because they have a bye this round as they play Boreham Wood at home?
  12. The job he's done with Elyounoussi deserves a huge amount of credit. A guy who looked completely out of his depth, with no real stand out attributes, is now looking like a key part of a well oiled machine. Not sure other managers would have brought him back in from the cold, and got this tune out of him.
  13. Think you'd actually get more value by looking at where they were before this season, given we identified them before this season started. The knock on affect of specific squads, and personel, will obviously impact those stats.
  14. He won’t be signing for us by all accounts, or we certainly won’t be paying big money for him.
  15. Wasn’t the whole game week thing a thing because you had games on from Friday night to Monday, so couldn’t say weekend. I’m not a fan mind.
  16. Will be a tough game. They seem to have turned a corner, but if we play to our best we’ll have too much for them. Would probably go with the same team, no need to change it atm.
  17. Terrible news. RIP Minsk.
  18. Diet problem. He’s now gluten free
  19. He is a c*nt
  20. Been playing there all season hasn’t he?
  21. It's not about "can they play 3 games in a week". It's more about can they play 3 games in a week to the highest level possible, you could argue thats a no. However, the majority didnt play against Coventry, only JWP who is not quite human. Would expect to see rotation if Ralph doesn't think they can play 90 minutes, as he won't want to lock in subs before we've even started. Saying that, I hope we pretty much put out the same side, if they can play to that level. Elyounoussi has massively surprised me, and clearly has got a bit of self belief back from his trip to Scotland. Let's be honest, we'd have all been happy with 2 points and get through the cup round from this week, and we've already got 3 points. This is a "free hit" points wise IMO.
  22. They’re not better than Spurs. Play like that and we’ll win. 6 points from these two would be dreamland. Looking forward to the trip already.
  23. He’s absolutely incredible, utterly superb player in every aspect now. Sod selling him. Get him signed up for life.
