Yeah, would be a good option. Also potentially Diallo in for S Armstrong, who hasn't quite got up and running yet, and wouldbe very harsh on Diallo to drop him after last night
-
Don't think they've been "typical Burnley" for a few seasons now anyway. Partly due to injuries. It's definitely left them in the shit, but no, they have to accept the bid. The player doesn't have to go though, and to leave it to the last day, would risk them not getting medical / contract terms sorted in time.
-
Luckily for them, they got those recent wins against Watford and Villa, otherwise they'd be right in the shit. Having got those two results, I can't see them being sucked in this season. Expect them to go down next season though.

Didn't see the game, but sounded bent as f*ck.

Would go back to the 4-2-2-2 personally: Forster; KWP Bednarek Salisu Perraud; Romeu JWP; Armstrong Tella Redmond Broja
-
The league have changed the rules this year I believe, which is why a bunch of their kids got sold with buy backs, rather than being sent out on loan. (Inc Tino) Broja is absolutely superb, and I'd be shocked if Chelsea let us buy him, but heres hoping. But, the odd cameo off the bench is completely different than starting most weeks and being the main man. He's loving being part of this Saints team it seems, and why wouldn't he. I don't want to see him go back to Chelsea at the end of the season, and he's wasted sat on their bench next season.

£28m for 30 year old Chris Wood. Good lord.

Diallo, JWP and Romeu were brilliant. Liked the use of the hybrid 3/4 at the back. Perraud ran them ragged down the left hand side. JWP MOM for me, with Diallo a close second. Just love how he keeps things so simple. Great performance.

cUnacceptable inconsistency and appalling standard of referees

The best refereeing performance I can remember in ages, barely noticed him. Let the game flow. More of that please. -
It’s a joke, always used to be an 11pm train, absolute crap from SWT

I'd like to think we'd be after a first choice keeper, not a backup to Macca...
-
Not like they have to prove anything...we can just make it up like Newcastle because we don't want to play...
-
Hes suspended for league game, not this one. On the back of that news...bit of a lottery as to who will start where. Bet Ralph is a bit annoyed that Small is missing as would have been a great chance of him getting on the pitch with KWP and Tino both out too. I assume Stephens is back fit/out of isolation? Assuming he wants to give Simeu his debut I'd go with the following... Caballero Valery Stephens Simeu Perraud Diallo JWP Armstrong Armstrong Broja Tella Though wouldn't be surprised if any of the following start...Bednarek, Lyanco, Walcott, Elyounoussi, Redmond, Long

Caballero has signed til the end of the season. I wouldn't expect any keeper to sign this month, unless Forster is out the door.
-
Because I don't. Personally I think if someone owns one club, they shouldn't be allowed to own another. Unfortunately, or fortunately for us, it's allowed.
-
I really don't agree with the whole, "group of clubs" thing. Can see it not being allowed at some point.
-
Cho seems to be incredibly similar to Tella from the very little I've seen of him online, just 5 years younger.
-
To setup sports republic…
-
In our system, we play with 2 of them, "tens". We get barely any goals from them, Redmond, Armstrong, Djenepo, Theo, Tella, Elyounoussi
-
Not a chance. Would have to be £80m+ for us to think about losing him, especially mid season.
-
Not sure why people are suggesting Coutinho, Ramsey etc...no chance. Isn't Ramsey going to Newcastle anyway? Probably the only club who would pay his £400k a week wages....
-
And us in 2020 when Ings had a stupidly high conversion rate.

Thought Serbians and Albanians hate each other?

Looks like Tripper to Newcastle is pretty much done…

Forster; Valery Stephens Simeu Small; JWP Diallo; Redmond Armstrong; Adams Armstrong Possinly Lyanco in for one of the CBS. Think I read somewhere, Ralph mentioned that Small and Simeu are likely to play in this.
