  1. Agree, and this is 100% down the the players to take the chances, not the manager. The manager has got things spot on, if we should be 3 or 4 up at HT. Broja, despite his brilliant goal, missed at least 3 very decent chances on Saturday, 2 of which were in the first half. Adams also missed a very decent chance. At the end of the day, it's been very similar for about 10 years. Even under Poch / Koeman, it was the same just with better players, and therefore better results. We dominate, aren't clinical enough, and end up either with a 1-1 draw or a 0-1 defeat. Same with Puel. we just never got a result at home because we couldn't score goals. We have to learn to be more clinical with our chances, and then the game is over and done with. I don't think this is a problem of the manager personally.
  2. How do you know it's 6 months? It might be a month?
  3. Is Diallo fit? Could be Smallbone/JWP in CM, with a half fit Stephens and Lyanco at the back....and a debut 40 year old in goal... Enjoy the day out...the worst bit will be from 3pm for a few hours.
  4. Clearly a decent player with decent pedigree, it's more whether he's fit enough and capable enough, but he's a no lose signing really. I would expect one of Forster or Macca will be back by the time the transfer window opens, or if not, we can get someone else then. He is decent with his feet though, and was picked ahead of Hart at Cityfor a while becuase of his strength in that area. It's worth a punt for sure.
  5. Alex Cook reporting that we’re looking into Willy Cabarello. Probably no chance then…
  6. Yup, it'll be a cheap option regardless.
  7. Ralphs already said we won't be signing a new striker in January. Think if we were going to sign someone it would be in the "10" position, but that would surely require one to leave. Will be interesting to see where we target, as historically, we don't do much business in January.
  8. Thought he signed a new contract back in the summer?
  9. Feels like every home game this season, we've had completely incapable refs. Not sure whether thats my rose tinted glasses, but another shit performance from the ref last night. Ndidi made about 10 fouls.
  10. Great to have him back last night, we’re a better side when he’s in it.
  11. A good side, will be a tough game. Really could do with 3 points. Rest Tino and give Perraud a chance on the left. Hopefully S Armstrong is fit again.
  12. Not sure if it’s happening more, or whether they’ve just decided to assist these days. Club have the best medical facilities available so might as well assist. Could be the difference between alive/dead. Hopefully they’re ok.
  13. So no rumours then...
  14. They're clearly a good side, underperforming. I know I said it last week, but I'd give Tino a rest. Is Armstrong fit? Lets hope so. Probably go with Elyounoussi if S Armstrong not fit. Macca KWP Lyanco Salisu Perraud Armstrong (if fit?) JWP Romeu Redmond Adams Armstrong
  15. It's Talksport, it's no surprise. That radio station is the radio equivalent of the daily star transfer gossip. Rubbish.
  16. Yup great stuff. It's abiout a 10 year cycle, so this set of kids coming through, would have been brought into the club just as we were back in the premier league. Will expect a lot more talents over the next few years, than the last 10.
  17. I'd be tempted to go with this. The sort of game that we may tweak the formation. Would like to see Lyanco start and think Tino needs a rest. Macca (Forster but he won't get picked) Bednarek Lyanco Salisu KWP JWP Romeu Diallo Perraud Armstrong Adams
  18. Had a couple of poor games IMO, Don't know if thats because he is being more targetted by opposition, but looked off the pace in both the Villa and Norwich games. I'd be temted to give him the Liverpool game off, and bring him back for the next one. Clearly a massive talent, but he's still so young. Perraud has also done nothing wrong.
  19. A lot of them live around Winchester. I was told Steven Davis still lives there, and commutes to Rangers. Quite a few of them are moving to Ascot area supposedly, which is where Macca lives atm.
  20. There are pricks everywhere, thats life.
  21. Rough. Always had potential, but never quite got there, this explains a lot. hopefully he can carve a career out still.
  22. Quite a few of them are moving to Ascot area anyway, so I’ve heard. Macca loves that way already. 60 mins on the motorway…who cares…
  23. So I’ve been told. Regularly up at the Winchester golf academy
  24. Apart frm us losing!
  25. Steven Davis still lives in Winchester, commutes to Rangers…!
