The settling in of Salisu, the upturn in Macca's form, the addition of Tino/Perraud, and Ralph's willingness to change things when it's not going well for us, (start of 2nd half vs Villa the prime example), all have a big influence on that. In addition to Romeu being back to full fitness, we all know how important Romeu is to us.

I'd be surprised if he went, but I said the same about Ings and Koeman. You'd certainly like to think there is a bit more loyalty with Ralph though given the last few years. But anything can happen in football.

Cresswell is not a very good left back. Certainly not defensively.

Poacher is Charlie Austin. Literally offers nothing outside of the 6 yard box. And even that he didn't really do a great job at for us. Broja on the other hand, creates something out of nothing, carries the ball up the pitch, and gets well involved in general play.

If Howe gets the job, I just cannot see how that would make him successful. They need someone IMO, that has been there and done it with money before, and is also pretty solid. All Howe has done is show how he can play some nice attacking football, but without being able to defend. And whenever he's had money to spend, he's spunked it all at Liverpools reserves. I really did not see Howe getting that job. Wouldn't be surprised if they're in a right mess come Feb/March and end up booting him too.

Agree, but normally you'd go after similar managers, not completely different ones as your first and second choice.

Probably his best game so far for us, and clearly a player in there, but my word he’s so wasteful. You can get away with that in the championship, but he needs to learn to be way more clinical, or he just won’t make it in the premier league. Plenty of positives so far though, and hopefully he can improve that part of his game. If he was clinical he could have had 5 or 6 for us already this season.
