Young Boys could be our 'feeder club'. That would be absolutely awesome, what a place to train our next generation of saints but away from prying eyes and playing their football at a relatively high level. Who's their manager, get him in as AP's assistant.

Is that bloody Redknapp bloke involved in this by any chance?

I still ain't heard nothing. Guess they accepted my plea of insanity. YAY!

Reparing scratrches - is it worth it?

I spent (wasted) a few quid a little while ago getting my car machine polished, it was worse when he'd finished, but it was raining so I couldn't really see the results properly. I would say, wash (car wash will do, ASDA do 'the works' for about ten quid) and hoover the car out, put a smelly in it and hope for the best. If it don't sell then at least you got a nice clean fragrant car to drive around in, just don't get it dirty again. Job done. -
Brilliant, £175. Thanks guys. A free beer next time you see me at the bar.

Had to have a go at this. Brilliant Thread btw. '76 - living in gillingham but knowing my heart was in southampton, so excited seeingit on TV that I as did every kid on our estate went straight over the park and played 'fa cup knockout', and i was saints. Man U wins (home and away) all the epitome of football dreams coming true. I don't really mind when we lose to them either (relegation season excepted), they really are a joy to watch. KK - called downstairs to watch it on 'News at 10'. words cannot describe 'that' feeling, one day soon eh! ZDS - wembley (i think), it was a bit of a blur tbh. JPT - see above Markus buys club - jumping up and down in my front room, texting like a loon. Markus dies (God rest his soul) - just heard the news from a friend within the club (no name dropping attempt here, just not important) whilst at a meetig and solemnly told my son, who said and i quote "what like when you said Saints were signing Michael Owen" and I said "No! this is TRUE. It is very sad news, he was a great man, he cared about'stuff'. Markus has died". "****" he said "that IS sad". I then went outside and texted any one i know the sad news (attention seeker for sure). Funniest text I have ever received was from a lad I work with, he replied "Markus who?". I will never evr let him forget that, but I must admit that i did laugh when I read it. My bad. That's all, Good thread, lot's of, how you say, 'feel-good factor'.

Really chuffed that it's nudging £200 (still a bargain apparently) but hope people don't mind one final BUMP before it closes?

"Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit." That's St Mary's out then, first half excepted of course.

That's really nice actually, is that from one of those old Arena posters? Whatever, it would be nice to think that we could take even a small bit of that on board and maybe become a better person, if not poster.

David Bellamy perhaps...

My first time in The Northam for quite some time and really enjoyed the singing and banter. The second half (OWTSGMI) was really infectious. Our stewards do seem to have ants in their pants though, constantly changing places and blocking the view for us short-arses! Was surprised to see such a good turn out by B'mouth fans also, met a nice bunch in th Giddy Bridge pre-match. That's what a local derby should be like imho.

Aha! Cheers for pointing that out Pancake. Actually, what happened is that one of my work colleagues has saved hi SWF log in details and hence my reply automatically appears to have come from him. Now then, what to do? hehehe Should I sabotage his account? Should I do the decent thing and tell him? Should I use it to hound Delldays, Dune, Dog, DBP et al? Or, should I keep schoom and use it every now and then to make mischief?

Selling my Pentax K110-D SLR camera. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pentax-K110D-6-1mp-Digital-SLR-VGC-18-55-lens-boxed-/140438546587?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item20b2ca289b Taken some really lovely pictures with it using the Auto setting but I'm sure in the right hands it will produce some very impressive shots. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, it is just that mrs h always has her compact with her and to be honest my snapping skills don't warrant this level of kit. Any trial welcome before listing ends and I would welcome any of the more serious snappers comments please, don;t be too harsh though as I am sure people will not be expecting the sort of quality that we (used to) see around St Mary's. In original boxes with all the cables, software and manuals included. Detail on the listing and any questions welcome. Ends next Monday evening @ approx 21:15.

dickyhale, worry not. As a youngster I (as did many others) used to launch the odd loo roll in celebration following a goal. The police would occasinally tear me off a strip but as no-one ever got hurt nowmal rules did not a ply and they'd roll out the lame old 'i know yer muvva' warning and the one time I did appear in court I was aquilted.
