  1. My understanding is that a batch of tickets with impaired view are always last to be sold but i have no idea what seats have an impaired view. The other explanation is that they are the 10 deferred Matt LeTiss tickets that we are contractually and morally obliged to keep until he knows what his Sky commitments are. Ther is always ebay folks...
  2. Only by 19 goals in the end though, it wouldn't have been impossible for them to have won 8/9-0 and us to have lost 0-8/9 on the final day. Surely, if players have to be;leive that then we fans do too, no? In fact us merely losing and them winning would have meant a maximum 15 point gap to overhaul. TFIC
  3. I thought we clinched v Walsall. No?
  4. Trafalgar Dock apparently not Town Quay.
  5. Never heard that one but I'm told that the Town Quay proposal is in full swing.
  6. Especially without our top players and the manager poached. NC may decide to cash in and run too. We will be promoted anyway so moot point imho.
  7. If anyone wants a pdf copy of the 'Spitfire Munument - Design and Access' document for the sculpture planned for Town Quay let me know. I'm fairly certain that it's in the public domain now but just in case, don't tell no-one where you got it from...nudge nudge, wink wink, nods as good as a wink to a blind bat...and all that.... It's 48 pages but has some great artist impressions included. It's gonna be a bit on the big side, I'll try to upload an image in a mo.
  8. They do believe in Jesus, they just don't believe that he was the son of God. I think. Muslims think that Jesus was a prophet. I think that he was just a very naughty boy.
  9. Good post crablungs, I often veer away from the longer posts but yours was like one of those brilliant opening paragraphs (plural) of a decent book. For me personally, we are chasing Reading. Period.
  10. I actually popped the questionshortly after we'd done the business. Obviously she had no option but to say yes. After all, I'd turned her down repeatedly for more thana year.
  11. I asked mrs h's grandad, her old man having disappeared before she could walk. Inabsolute 100% seriousness he told me that she'd do what she wanted anyway, so yes. He then let out a rip-roaring fart and started cleaning his fish tank. Fact. First mrs h's old man gave me the 3rd degree and to this day I wish I'd capitulated.....the dirty old slag
  12. And a celebratory roll up in the centre circle to boot? Was nice to share it with such a nice bloke phil.

    ZDS Final

Bloody Scott Gemill iirc, just as I was sobering up he slid in to poke away the winner. I hear that Kevin Moore's not too good but not really at liberty to divulge sorry.
  16. magic number person refused to sell to me, thought I was gonna miss out. However, online booking worked a treat. See you all on the pitch.
  17. Should have thrown killer Punche on. IMO.
  18. You are not a w@nker Colin, don;t listen to them mate. btw, visited Margate the other day....oh dear....
  19. Lovely lady, not as lovely as the lovely Julie Covington though. Right up there with Erica Rowe, Linda Lusardey (sp) and many others of the time.
  20. When I said he don't like me I didn't mean 'at all', it's just that his offer of 29.9% apr was a tad high especially considering that any boat would depreciate. We viewed a couple of budgety 'require modernisation' types that in all honesty should be scrapped to free up some moorings, one didn't even have a water tank and the lady selling tried to convince us that 'you get used to it'! Plan B is to wait 2 years, sell the big house, buy 1 x smaller house 1 x boat, sail away spending the rental money on red diesel and real ale as we go about our merry way. End of the day, living down here is pretty much the icing on the cake, even if the cake hasn't quite risen as expected (yet).
