I reckon that as it could be argued that the 'break' is to ensure passenger safety, it should all be paid. Good luck to them. Having said that, a vast majority of them are miserable sods, not like the good old days when they could wear Santa outfits.

If you had tasted it, then I believe that you would appreciate real Budha. Actualy, why do they not employ the homeless to sell both The Echo Echo and Biggishwho? This would make sense IMO as it would increase both of they're sales.

I am sure that there was a link to the highlights on the old forum. It is out there somewhere. What a day.

If that ***** Fatcher gets wind of this thread she will shut you down.

Unfair CF, that is a very funny joke, which I have never heard before and have hence texteded to my friend(s). Fancy a 'joke off'? One thread One joke each Poll to find winner. Obviously I am not playing, you versus Iner****.cum

You disgust me. Can I come

Ah okay, not worth craning my neck for then, cheers anyway folki. CF, I had to read that a couple of times before realising just how funny it actually was LOL. Bearing in mind what **** week I have had it was a freakily apt offer.

Woah well done that man. Maybe Im No Sinner could help out here too? What are you paying your AirCon engineers to be 'on call' around this time of year INS? My SIL is an Air Con engineer and rakes it in over BH's. But apparently good air con guys are "like gold dust" (his words not mine), whereas someone who simply "turns it off, and turns it back on" (his words not mine) are ten a penny.

Holy or not, they are bank holidays. Christmas Day = Someone wanting to be with their kids and spouse (and pretending to like them). Boxing Day = Someone visiting family that they haven't seen all year (and pretending to like them). New Years Eve = Someone wanting to Partay, with like minded people (and pretending to like them) New Years Day = Someone wanting to simply chill and contemplate what the year ahead will bring (and pretending that it will be better than the crap one just gone). Think of it in those terms and DO NOT let on that you are only up for it because you have no friends. Oh yeah, I should probably mention that I have had a very bad week.

Hi to all skywatchers. Someone told me the other day to expect an amazing meteor shower sometime this weekend, around 100 an hour at it's peak! I can't for the life of me remember when he said it was due. I have googled it but keep getting results of one in August. Please could someone put me out of my misery?

This is the crux of the matter really IMO. What if you had made plans ie going to Cornwall? How much would you ask for to cancel? Your employer will have a budget for this. If it isn't in your T's & C's I, like others have said, think you should ask for quite a lot more than they are offering. Three of those days are bank holidays and the other is widely considered the party night of the year. So even if you can't be arsed with the festivities yourself, you will be enabling someone else to do so. It is more about how important those dates are to someone else who does mind working, as opposed to yourself who doesn't. I personally would ask for at least treble time, or even double time and 4 days leave in looe (I think that's in Cornwall). see what I did there? Good luck.

So you fed her vitamins just for the halibut! Where was she perched at the time col?
-
I think you mean PP3 battery. I am not suggesting that I know her that well, it is just that you would have to have a very long tongue to touch it on both ends of an AA battery.

Controversial!

Out of interest steve oh! How long would it take on average to prepare for a night out?
-
You may get to see Chris Lucketti playing too.

Shame, you could have had each other for Christmas dinner if he lived closer.

Turkey, goose or spitroast Jill? I may be tempted to come over if you put on a spread.

I can't get it now either, although the FM reception is better now that they also transmit on 107.8 AND 107.2

They could have took the corporate hospitality option to be fair: http://www.lcfc.com/page/CorporateHospitality/0,,10274,00.html Bloody good prices too IMO.
