I'm not sure if it was on the same day but MLT joined us in the away end just as they played Elton John's tribute to Princess Diana who had just died ! The fans all started chanting 'Matt Le Tiss, takes the ****' etc.. One young lady took umbrage to this and went berserk whilst poor Matt was left looking embarrassed! All very unfortunate but I seem to remember that we won so it all ended peacefully!

Well said, he has been slated on here but I think that the players around him really appreciate what he adds to the team ! Sure, he misses plenty and falls over a lot but his contribution should not be taken for granted ! BTW, for those suggesting that he dived when racing in on goal, he got straight up and did not complain to the ref which implies that he just fell over ! He runs at full pace most of the time so this is inevitable I'm afraid ! Anyway great team performance and the MoTD highlights completely skewed the run of the game - we were by far the superior team !

There were two reasons why I stopped buying programmes (or match day magazines, as they like to call them). a) The size is too big to put in your pocket ! b) Most of the information is online already so it's pure duplication ! If Wednesday's performance is anything to go by then Roger East is categorically not one of our best referees IMO ! Bertrand did not HAUL back Fraser, he harried alongside of him and even Graham Poll on BT Sport said it was a joke (and he was a top referee) All about opinions though and all refs make mistakes as well as players, managers and even Saintsweb punters

And all of this coming from the troll who posted " LoL Puel " when we conceded an early goal v Bournemouth (which of course we went on to win comfortably!) - it seems that criticism is the norm and that any praise given comes with some sort of rider, calculated to demean the manager ! The guy has been given a 3 year contract and deserves a chance to assert his influence over a reasonable period of time, unless some form of disaster occurs (which it hasn't) so why don't you just get behind him and the club for once ? It could even be good therapy for you
