TBF, we could do with more needle from the stands.
  2. Hughes has done his best, and made a difference but this team are beyond redemption. Too many mercenaries.
  3. Classic relegation result and performance.
  4. ^ Liverpool will be genuine title contenders next season.
  5. I agree with pretty much all of it, save for the paragraph about us not having our "self-respect stripped away by a disconnected owner". We appear now to have exactly that. Further, Kat in my view, while outwardly "having to do the decent thing" with daddy's cherished heirloom club, in reality couldn't wait to divest herself of something she had no deep affection or passion for. That slowly eroded the culture of success and ambition, and ultimately silenced the buzz of a club that regularly tweaked the noses of the Giants.
  6. Emirates is a dreadful stadium at the best of times, but half empty as it is likely to be, will be the pits. It is looking dated and was always soulless; the architects must have had a brief to design out any chance of an atmosphere.
  7. Mane and Ox joining in the fun slaughtering the oddly out of sorts Citeh... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Guardiola couldn't keep these ****s up.
  9. Spoilt goods. None have covered themselves in glory and the supposed stepping-stoners (boufal/hojberg/lemina/cerdric etc) will have seen their price stagnate at best. The massed ranks of crocks and journeymen are essentially worthless. The bubble is bursting except for the very, very best talent.
  10. The sooner we return to solid banks of 20,000 young, working class men stood singing their teams' anthems, rather than gaggles of bankers in the hospitality circle wolfing grilled chicken and nasty prosecco, and gormless phone-licking tourists at grounds, the better.
  11. Awful leftist paper.
  12. I suspect Hughes will drop a large swathe of the shameful team that went to Stratford. There's nothing to lose. I hope he does and we might just stay up.
  13. At the moment I'd be worried that I might be referred to the local Child Safeguarding Board...
  14. I think several years mired mid-table in the Championship awaits us. Possibly even worse. Can't see a bounce back under this ownership or executive.
  15. They know that it’s all over, both collectively as a team, and their careers as individuals. None are playing for the shirt apart from maybe McCarthy. The team are a mix of ageing, crocked journeymen, and disgruntled wannabe big time Charlies who realise that they have been left on the shelf in the race for a Big Six move. A toxic cocktail of bitterness and no motivation, leading to relegation is the inevitable result. No manager on earth could rectify the situation without mass sackings. 21. They need excoriating at home next week.
  22. What a waste of 45 minutes of life...
  23. Utter disgrace.
  24. Charlie N on sky scathing, unsurprisingly.
