Oh please, I wasn't swaying towards either of your points in this debate but to say that if you don't play like the footballing greats of old then you are not good enough period is just ridiculous.
-
But true. At least, it was in the Ol' days back up in Scotland.
-
None at all. Thank god. And there's no E on the end of my Clark - when there is, it means you were born a b*stard child

No Fonte?

Exactly. There was one point when the ball was coming through to Kelvin Davis with a LOT of pace on it, and it just stopped dead about two yards outside the 18 yard box. Thankfully the Exeter strikers hadn't gambled, but if they had we would have been 1-0 down at that point.

At the game V Stoke apparently a mass riot broke out in the away concourse, with bottles etc. being thrown. Then one complete mong decided to throw a metal bin in amongst the crowd, hitting a man and knocking him out. He was taken to hospital and SSN is reporting that he died either last night or this morning. Really shocked tbh, how could you possibly want to do that to ANYONE? There is no way Blackburn fans will be allowed to travel to Turf Moor now. RIP.

You really are a tit. Obviously those highlights show that Exeter should have won, because it showed them hitting the post. What it didn't show was the blatant handball in the box right in front of me about 2 minutes later. A draw was a fair result in the end.

Then why do you need time out cards to identify the kids who are problematic?
-
On the Football League show, it was clearly James who played the ball in.
-
Looked alright when I saw it on the internet stream for the Dons game.

"Southampton have already broken the record for the biggest crowd in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with 26,000" Yes, but that picture was from the 07/08 final day game against Sheffield United.
-
Exactly. The majority of people will not be too disappointed if we don't get promotion this year.

There has always been an element of that on here. These is a thread created by someone on almost every possible negative outcome, just so that if it comes to pass they can say they were right, whereas if it doesn't happen the thread is forgotten. I still chuckle when I remember Delldays' "Mark Wotte will keep us up" thread.

I kind of hope it's the away kit as the latest red and white shirt I have has Pele on the back

Why can't teachers just keep track of which kids might need to leave the room in certain situations, I.E do their jobs?
-
Well, that's that jinxed then. Might as well not turn up.

"At last weeks Stockport game there was a special offer for Children to go at £2 each and their parents got in free - a friend of mine at work went to her first ever game with her husband and two kids for a total of £4." Is this true? I heard nothing at all about any special offer like this, sounds like they are just making it up.

Difference being they are used to it, creating home advantage. Much like the pitch dipping at the edges, IMO this makes it harder for away players taking corners.
-
Have to agree to be honest. Really disappointed, especially about the "endeavour and commitment" comments.
-
Even that goes to Lancashire tbf.
-
Why doesn't he trade them in for one or two new games that he wants, or a few blu-ray movies?
-
No we weren't, and no we didn't, but yes we are. A draw was a fair result based on the performances on the pitch.

1 - I honestly thought Puncheon was playing in CM. He certainly came back VERY deep to pick the ball up if he was playing up front. 2 - Who would you rather play at CM? 3 - Antonio played on the wing, not as a striker... 4 - He tried Otsemobor as a winger for about 7-8 minutes then subbed him. He has a lot of pace, it was worth a go.

See my post in the other thread - for all the talk from the club about aiming for play-offs, I do not believe for a second that Pardew is demanding it from his players. Next season will be a different story however. If we are not in the CCC by the start of the 11/12 season then Pardew SHOULD leave IMO.
