"current form this season" "title winners next season"
-
Maybe because we have seen what we are capable of and believe we will produce it regularly next season when expectations from all sections of the club will be higher.
-
I'd like to know how you could get more attacking than; ----James-Puncheon-Morgan Waigo---------------------Lallana ------------Lambert ? Most people have been saying that we needed Wotton in the midfield today. How would that make us more attacking, exactly?
-
Because you're so much of an ugly c*nt that the money isn't worth it for even the biggest gold diggers.
-
He did?
-
From what I can remember Waigo knocked it on from a James ball in, but as I said not too sure.
-
I may be wrong, but i'm sure it was James' pass which set up the goal.
-
Who would people have honestly played instead of James today? Wotton? With a fully fit squad he would be on the bench. And in midfield he is not as bad as people make out.
-
I agree with that, but Seaborne is not far off being at his level if you ask me. He very rarely got beaten in the last two games from what I could see.
-
Did you see how narrow their pitch is?
-
Oh, and by the way - "Leave them alone lino!" Any of you lot on here the nutter who shouted that out every now and then?
-
A million times better? Sorry, but you've just discredited your whole argument for me. You want to alter that? He has more experience and is a bit better, but Seaborne has looked just as solid when i've seen him.
-
It's a bit pretentious to speak on someones behalf without their permission.
-
We should be top of the league by 2000 points by now, not worrying about some sh*tty tin pot trophy FFS. Pardew out.
-
Still disagree. To say Schneiderlin doesn't battle for the ball is a bit silly, seeing as he should have been sent off today for mistiming a tackle from behind. Last season you would have been right, but he has improved a lot. Plus, Puncheon looked at his best when playing deep winning the ball from the opponents.
-
Agree about Harding in for Mills, but Seaborne and Otsemobor have done nothing wrong. Nothing wrong at all.
-
Sorry, but NO pitch is a Wotton pitch. An aimless ball to nowhere is an aimless ball to nowhere, regardless of whether the pitch is perfectly flat or has bit divets in it.
-
WTF why do you want to get to the final of this mickey mouse cup?
-
It's probably because we're all happy clapping tw*ts with no ambition. Pardew out.
-
Agreed, we really need Jihad back in the team.

Davis - had little to do, but claimed crosses well which has been his major fault so far IMO. Semi - Best i've seen him defensively, but looked lost once moved to RM. Quickly taken off after that. Fonte and Seaborne - put these two together because they played at an equal level. Both were extremely solid and very, very little got past them. Looks a very promising partnership. Mills - I really like this guy but he is not up to the level of Harding YET. Please bring Dan back in. James - solid but unspectacular, had a few good passes and one good chance to shoot which he didn't take Morgan - looked very good but was lucky not to be sent off for second bookable offence when he brought someone down from behind. Looks like having that red card rescinded has meant he learnt nothing about keeping his temper/petulance in check. Puncheon - had a very on off game, and surprisingly (for me anyway) actually looked better when winning the ball from deep and then passing it on than he did receiving it in the final third. More to come from him, much more. Waigo - looked a threat but cannot cross well enough really. Not much more to say. Lallana - Took his goal well. Kept the ball well. Closed down very well. Again, not much else to say. Lambert - looks extremely tired, which is gutting because I can't see where we can rest him in our fixture list.
-
You know what? I'm not even going to bother arguing. There is no point. The vast majority of people, including I believe the management at the club, will wait until the end of next season before ULTIMATELY judging the progress we have made.
-
Just got in, we actually looked decent when we got forward but Exeter were up for it far more than we were. Based on what I saw on the pitch a draw was a fair result, but we SHOULD have won. Blatant handball right in front of me at the end, even the Exeter player looked round at the ref before playing on.
