I suppose it depends on the kind of accident. Lundekvam could have been driving within the speed limit and just nudged someone (which is enough to do some damage to the car and put someone in shock) whereas that Belgian tanker driver, by all accounts, was acting like a bit of a tool.

Sorry, but I completely disagree. If we had a manager who knew English football and could actually motivate the players, we would have stayed up.

A very good record for a player who was used as a target man for a long ball game. If you use him properly, with wingers who can cross and centre mids who can pick out a through ball, then he will score more. As was proved when he had Bale/Skacel/Belmadi whipping balls in and Surman/Guthrie picking out the passes during 06/07. AND let us not forget that he was dropped for pretty much the whole of the second half of that season, for some bizarre reason which Burley never fully explained.

I would wager there have been a fair share of players in league one on £10k a week or more over the last 5 years.
