  2. TDD, I am not a fan of the whole "you weren't there so you can't have an opinion", but to disagree with someone about a players performance when they watched the game and you didn't is a bit silly.
  3. 18. But that doesn't mean I don't listen to my dad and read the history of the club I support. Anyway, by your logic you have no right to lecture me anyway, as you are only about 20.
  4. Same, especially after seeing how well Gobern and Mclaggon did in midfield today.
  5. I said at the start of half time that BWP should come on for Smith, but FFS they should have played on the right sides. Taking Paterson off was a bizarre one for me, thought he was terrific today.
  6. Surman and Lallana to Fulham with Baird and £3million coming the other way according to an anonymous text on 606.
  7. Can't believe Sydenham has got so few votes.
  8. Erm.....why?
  9. I'd be up for that to be honest. Even if it is only 2000 fans, them rushing to the tunnel and chanting we want rupert out to the directors box would make it pretty clear. Although if it was only that small an amount, RL would berate the "lunatic fringe" for putting the club in risk of a fine or points deduction....
  10. Yes, our club is in a worse position, but we can't think/talk about our own club 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Besides, Pompey losing cheers me up - Saints losing depresses me. I know what i'd rather be talking about when i'm out on the town.
  11. Option number two. Would have said one (singing we want rupert out for a full 90 minutes should get the message across) but if we score then we're f*cked as we can't keep on singing it.
  12. Hopkins - RVN does work hard, so that's quite a bad comparison. Your point about people who saw him in the reserves -exactly. He was playing in the reserves.
  13. How would you know, he's never played at RM. Amazed that Perry and BWP are not starting to be honest. I can actually see the potential in Lancashire. I'm happy to keep playing him as i'm sure he will come good. Same said for Smith, I think he will win a few people around.
  14. Stick Surman on the right (where he's played his best football for us so far IMO) and James in the middle as a defensive midfielder (his natural position). Sorted. I'm just not happy about Euell. If we're going to have someone up there as a target man, i'd rather have someone who can head the ball, hold it up and pass it to his own players, rather than flick it straight up in the air 50 times a match.
  15. Anyone read these? Been told they're a fascinating set of books about Ancient China. I'm interested by pretty much any ancient history so was thinking about buying them, but wanted a few opinions first.
  16. Me too. Euell was putting in effort and was shocking, therefore we know he is bad no matter what. If someone can motivate McGoldrick, he may yet do something good.
  17. Cork's played his best at CB, why are we not playing players where they are most effective? Lancashire will come good IMO but right now Pearce is the safer bet as well. Euell and McGoldrick = worst strike pairing i've seen ever, so why have they been given another chance?
  18. I honestly think Davis will do everything in his power to stay, including taking a wage cut. He's said to me that he wants to stay here for the rest of his career, and wouldn't risk his families happiness by moving to another club where they might be miserable.
  19. Re-re-re-replayed last night and the bloke who scored both goals for Droylsden (they won 2-1) was supposed to be banned for one match. The FA are holding a meeting and the game will either be re-re-re-re-replayed or Chesterfield will be sent through instead
  20. "Adam Lallana, for instance, was not really utilised until towards the end of last season, and now he is one of our best players. There are other players coming through that people have not heard much about yet and so the situation is similar" Erm, no it isn't. Nearly all of us had heard of Lallana well before he started playing last season. "I think Lloyd is doing a marvellous job on the right. I agree that he's a midfield player, but when we have Morgan Schneiderlin, Andrew Surman, Lallana, Gillett, Cork who can all play there then it's difficult to put them all on the pitch." This doesn't answer the question - why was he given a chance at RB and Jamie Hatch (who is a natural in that position) simply forgotten? Apart from that, I agree with pretty much everything else they said. EDIT: Also noticed that when asked about the forwards out on loan, Stern John is not mentioned.
  21. Right now i'd be more than happy with £30k a year.
  22. Great, so we loan him out, he does sh*t in League One, and then even less people want to take him on. :smt012
  23. Another bizarre transfer to go along with Forecast, Smith and Pekhart.
  24. Wotte is an idiot. Surman is not thinking more about those things because he is older, he is thinking about them because he's in the first team (which in fact is exactly what Surman says). Spin spin spin from everyone.
