Agreed. The videos suggested were pretty tame compared to my usual tastes.

Sorry dad. Hemp was incredible today, making herself a strong contender for our player of the tournament.
-
So we're planning on being in the division for a few seasons then? He may well improve to be at that point but he is a long, long way off it right now.

Atmosphere in the Chapel (and in general)

Good on you mate, I used to be in the Northam when I had a ST, any games I get to this season i'll be sure to buy at the back of block 15 to join in. -
Cleared off the line by a defender.

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool

Have to say i'm looking forward to seeing what Poch can do with Chelsea. -
I'm not asking for a team of Galacticos, just something like this would do me... I'm not saying "we have made a load of money so we WILL win the league". I'm saying we have a budget that is far superior to every other team except possibly Leicesters, and so we should be aiming to challenge for the title. I don't want us to be midtable after 10 games talking about making progress game by game and pushing our way up the table. I want to see some ambition for once.
-
Good point, we should be aiming for promotion in four years time.....
-
Lets be honest, with the money we've brought in just from Tino, JWP and soon Lavia we should be aiming to win this league, promotion at bare minimum. Surely the club understand that as well. I don't want to hear any bollocks about gelling.

Fuck him. Another former player that means nothing to me now.
-
Has it even been officially announced yet? Bit weird to upload this before doing so. Fuck him anyway, just another former player who has proven he'd rather earn a few extra quid than actually be remembered as a legend for decades to come.
-
He could sign friday and play to be fair.
-
I'd like to see him where Edozie is with Adams up top.
-
He's played 427 minutes for the club, that's the equivalent of just under 5 games.
-
He's a winger, so not a forward but still an attacking player. He only has 15 assists in over 100 games (whilst Onuachu who we're slating, scored 73 goals in just over 100 games). Point is, if we think performing for Genk in that league can translate to performing in the Championship then i'm not sure why we're writing off Onuachu whose record in Belgium was outstanding.
-
Based on what? He plays for the same team Onuachu did only he's scored less goals and only got 8 more assists in a similar amount of games. If we're confident that he can do a job in this league, we should be giving Onuachu a go as well.

JWP, Smallbone, Adams...probably the three players who have looked the best for us in the opening two games and the only ones that look like leaving anytime soon.
-
Unless you stick your fingers in your ears and miss 75% of it when it goes higher tempo i've never really understood this complaint.
-
The death of people caring about a keepers shot stopping ability right here ladies and gentleman.
-
If a keepers save percentage is higher then he conceded less goals...your example of there being more shots on target is irrelevant as the keeper doesn't affect that. Over the course of a season a keeper who conceded 7 from 12 shots in the first two games would concede less than someone who conceded 5 from 7, if those rates kept up.
-
And your line of thinking implies that him having the worst save percentage in the league last season had nothing to do with him and was instead because as a team we just happened to face more unstoppable, world class shots than any other.
-
You think that the percentage of shots on target a keeper saves is meaningless?
-
Yes, obviously. Bazunus distribution isn't even that special.
-
No idea as we don't know whether he'd have been able to with better positioning or coming to claim crosses. Seems odd to me that teams that play us are suddenly capable of scoring completely unstoppable goals though. I'm just going to keep track of that figure game by game.
-
He's conceded 71% of shots on target so far this season. 5 out of 7.
