Jesus and zinchenko two incredible signings that will really make them click going forward. Not just for the goals Jesus will bring, but the space he will create will mean more goals for Saka, Martinelli, Smith-Rowe and Odegaard.

Mental, absolutely mental. People have such a warped perception of what a good return is for strikers playing for anyone outside the top 6. Getting above 10 is a very good season for a striker playing for a team like Saints.

10th-15th would represent decent progress this season.

This is something I've been thinking of as well. David McGoldrick once scored 42 goals in 40 reserve games as an 18 year old. Reserve and youth football for the best/richest team in the world is completely different to the pressure of being a clubs record signing star striker expected to score enough goals to keep them in the Premier League.
