It's really not, feel free to rewatch it - he received the ball in the middle of the park, held off his man and spun round him on a number of occasions, as well as playing in the fullbacks with excellent passes and getting an excellent ball into the box from the byline. I've been critical of him all season but he was very effective for us today.

Interesting way of looking at it, that. Boufal does track back but obviously isn't defensively minded, and gets a lot of criticism for it. But you never hear people criticise Romeu because he's solid defensively but "needs to be doing more when attacking".

Both press forward with the ball and keep it well under pressure - Lemina is obviously just better at it.

Probably why the likes of Dzeko and Giroud were/are consistently dropped to the bench despite having very good goal records.

Was very good today other than the one big mistake. Done enough that I wouldn't be overly concerned with Van Dijk leaving and reinvesting the money elsewhere.
