I do agree that Austin would suit our style of play much more than any of our other strikers, but i'm interested to see what Long and Gabbi can do together up top. A lot of good movement in that front line, and Tadic has shown in the past he's capable of picking the killer pass.

It's essentially two up top, it's very rare to see a Premier League team play an actual two up front anymore.

As we should, the two of them are more than capable of keeping control of midfield.

Long will be the focal point, winning headers and running the channels, with Gabbi making runs from deep into the space Long creates looking for the lay off or the pass from Tadic/Redmond.

Yep, much better idea is to stick with someone who hasn't done it all season blindly rather than actually giving an opportunity to somebody else - who by the way is younger and didn't play his entire career thus far in this country.

Don't think he's suited to our formation or style of play. Might work out better as one of the three behind a striker or in two up front (3 at the back please!), but he doesn't do enough team work to play on his own up front.
