  1. Why oh why do we refuse to play balls in behind the defence? I just don't understand it.
  2. His biggest fan for the last 3 seasons when at Celtic. Not convinced anymore. Did nothing wrong today though as far as I could see. Having said that, 2 shots on target and 2 conceded doesn't look good on the face of it.
  3. Said all season that he holds the ball up, links up and passes very well. However his finishing is abysmal, it takes 5-6 chances before he gets a goal and he was getting those chances earlier in the season because he was unknown. Today he was awful in every area though. Simply awful.
  4. If you're gonna play him out wide I'd rather he stayed on the bench. We should know by now that he is ineffective out wide, and excellent through the middle.
  5. They used to despise us after the Nzonzi red card, claiming Cork was a cheat who dived. Guess Cork has left now though so it's not really relevant.
  6. I'll admit, i'm nervous for the first time this season.
  7. "We can go level on points with them tomorrow" maths not Lallanas strong point then.
  8. A lot of people blame Pochettino for "brainwashing" the players and making it feel like they had to leave once he'd gone, but from the way they talk there I think it was Cortese. They clearly felt the club was going to slide back down without him and I reckon had they known, they'd have stayed. The way we've performed this season has made an absolute mockery of all the "no ambition" comments from Rodgers and Lovren, as well as others. Quite funny though that when talking about our players this season Lallana can't bring himself to mention Pelle, Tadic and Toby...their replacements.
  9. It's still a studs showing challenge halfway up his shin.
  10. https://vine.co/v/OQqFgtVvVDA Clear ball contact?
  11. Sha la la la la la la la takes on a new meaning...
  12. I agree, but the precedent is there with Routledge. Barnes could have ended Matics career with that tackle, that's something worth taking into consideration with his reaction if you ask me.
  13. We'll never know. But we didn't. And he didn't act like a c*nt. That's what actually happened, but you can live in a world of hypotheticals if you want.
  14. Indeed he is, misses Spurs in the final, West Ham and then us. Good spot. EDIT: Given how bad the tackle on him was though, it's possible his red card will be overturned like Routledges was earlier in the season. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2894874/Wayne-Routledge-red-card-against-QPR-rescinded-referee-blunder.html
  15. He never kicked up the fuss Lallana did, he just requested a transfer.
  16. After a poor start, a win tomorrow will see us back in third place. Not bad.
  17. Luke Shaw, Theo Walcott and Alex Chamberlain have all reached the top, they were ambitious, but they weren't c*nts with it as well.
  18. He's older than me and I would never have acted the way he did.
  19. He's 26 years old.
  20. Apparently Barton punched Huddlestone in the back of the head. Scum. EDIT: Might actually be the groin, in which case whoever is talking on fivelive doesn't know what a "rabbit punch" actually is.
  21. Who has also made cock ups this season.
  22. Sigh. No such luck today then. Tomorrow is even bigger now.
  23. Violent conduct, sounded like there was a 50/50 challenge between two other players and he ran and got involved, I guess pushed/punched someone in the face. From the beeb;
  24. Ben Reeves has scored for MK Dons.
  25. Barton straight red, what a f*cking idiot. Why do clubs still give him the time of day? Supposed to be captain as well.
