If you're gonna play him out wide I'd rather he stayed on the bench. We should know by now that he is ineffective out wide, and excellent through the middle.

A lot of people blame Pochettino for "brainwashing" the players and making it feel like they had to leave once he'd gone, but from the way they talk there I think it was Cortese. They clearly felt the club was going to slide back down without him and I reckon had they known, they'd have stayed. The way we've performed this season has made an absolute mockery of all the "no ambition" comments from Rodgers and Lovren, as well as others. Quite funny though that when talking about our players this season Lallana can't bring himself to mention Pelle, Tadic and Toby...their replacements.
