Come on guys, we all knew this was happening for a few weeks. The time to start getting p*ssed off is if anyone else leaves. We've just raised near enough £100million in transfer fees, we do not need anymore. Chambers, Schneiderlin, Fonte, Clyne, Rodriguez...they all need to stay.

Will this be the best transfer window for Saints ever?

You wouldn't get a consensus across all fans of other clubs and the media on any player being the best in any position. And he played near enough two seasons. -
I'd hazard a guess that Brits are actually worse for it.

Obvious trolling attempt, but one point bugged me enough to respond - Shaw was not a one season kid. The jury is not still out, and they didn't pay that much "for the potential". He is the best left back in the Premier League already. -
Also agree with this. I find it near impossible to believe that we're in such debts that the revenue from sky and the prem can't cover it. This years accounts will say a lot.

Then they should just tell us. We would accept what's happening if they were honest about it.

You owe it to your seat to let a better person sit in it.

Jeez, Poyet really is a gimp. This isn't about feeling hard done by, this is about getting his excuses in early.

Prefer this video to that speech (the first of this type uploaded)

I just re-read the article and it does sound like you're right after all. My bad.

The way i read it was that his contract is being increased by £10k.

I'm beginning to think 9-3 might be visiting hours.

We trained with the ball from day one in the summer before our Championship season and were blowing teams away with our attacking possession football.

Shaw was a decent lad who regularly did charity work off his own back, including the whole "i'll donate a quid for every retweet this gets" thing. It's interesting that you describe Targett as humble, introverted and very amiable - as I would use those exact terms to describe Shaw as well.

I'm not listening to any hype, I'm judging by what I saw with my own eyes.

I managed the full 3:53 before deciding I didn't want to give it a go and closing the tab.

07/08, smashed a swedish team 12-0, adam hammill got a hattrick and we thought he'd be amazing. He wasn't and we barely stayed up. But most people seem to be drawing conclusions on individuals rather than the collective, which is a bit more realistic.

If luke shaw 'only' performs as well as he did last season for the rest of his career he will go down as one of the greats. 'Caught out of position on a number of occasions'? Utter rubbish. Simply didn't happen.
-
Insanity. Luke Shaw is the complete fullback. How on earth would you know that Targett is better defensively when Shaw has performed at top level in the Prem for two seasons, got into the team of the year and the England squad for a world cup, before Targett has made his full league debut? People seem keen to play down Shaws ability now he's left - probably to try and soften the blow - but the reality is he will most likely go on to be Englands greatest ever left back.
-
Schneiderlin swapped with Wanyama, Clyne swapped for Targett. Probably Ramirez for JWP/Davis as well.

New song inspired by the Argentinians at the World Cup

Honestly, I can't imagine that Graziano line without it sounding horribly sped up. -
I'm thinking Gallagher will have improved a lot on his decision making from last season, and should be more clinical this year. Good back-up/rotation option for Pelle.
-
Decent passing and an eye for goal, plus not afraid to get stuck in. With Schneiderlin and Wanyama not available it's the best option.

Who's playing left back second half? I thought Turnbull was a centre back? Maybe Yoshida on the left?
