Flamini, Coutinho, Giaccherini, Diakite (looked decent at St Marys), Stekelenberg, Boruc, Nastasic, Chico Flores, Julio Cesar, Balotelli.
All in the last few seasons.
He definitely meant to head it down as that's what strikers always try to do to get the best chance of keeping it on target (he did the same thing with his volley against Swansea) but no, he didn't mean to bounce it over the keeper.
Good job the league table takes all results into account then, doesn't it.
Chelsea finished in the CL spots last season, they got 2 points from Fulham, QPR and Saints at home.
"Definitely offside" or something to that effect, whilst the still shot on the screen showed Ramirez to be directly in line with the defender. I couldn't tell either at the time and was going mental at Ramirez for not paying attention to the defensive line, turns out he timed his run to perfection.
Not me. I'm a big fan but starting to think he doesn't suit our team.
Was definitely onside for that chance near the end (what the f*ck was the commo on about) and with that in mind should have buried it...but having said that, Lambert should have just smashed it anyway.
He thinks he should have done better, hence the "I will get those two points back" comment.
Everyone in the stands before the game was saying that the wind would carry the ball a lot further than usual, so the players would have been aware of it beforehand. The situation we conceded from could have been dealt with by Lovren or Fonte with Boruc not even leaving his 6 yard area, let alone coming out to the penalty spot.
Yes it was a freak goal, but I thought that Boruc should have still done better. No need for him to be out that far for starters and you should take the conditions into account - better to play it safe than sorry.
This is in direct contradiction to an email I got from the FL saying that they received a request from the Police and (exact quote):
"The League cannot overrule this request and as such had to accommodate these negotiations".
I sit in the Northam, and yeah I couldn't really hear them but the whole end of the stadium seemed to be clapping so just assumed they were chanting as well.
Interesting views on the atmosphere, I couldn't hear the Fulham fans once whilst I thought the Chapel end of the stadium was more involved than it had ever been bar semi-final of JPT and the 5 minutes or so we were 2-1 up v Pompey.
