Ever since Cortese has come to the club it's been spoken about how we want to sign players with the right attitude. It's been suggested before that some signings have fallen through because those players weren't the type of people we wanted at the club. I'm not worried about that changing now.

Can anyone find footage of Lamberts goal V City? Can't seem to get it anywhere.

I thought some clubs were able to give season tickets away for free and still make more money with the tv revenue increase next season.

Can't really tell from that video, but Hooiveld, Schneiderlin and Lambert were all joining in with OWTS, loud and proud. Was great to see.

I hate comments like that. If he hadn't been playing, someone else would have been - and we have no idea how many that other person could have scored. Maybe they'd have even got us the couple of extra points that would have seen us safe.

And that ladies and gents, is exactly why he hasn't done interviews in English. The press would have crucified him and Cortese if he'd stumbled over his words like that on Match of the Day.

In fairness he was voted Boros young player of the season for 12-13 whilst there on loan. He's obviously done something right. And even if he does leave Chelsea, it doesn't mean he's not good enough. Jack Cork is proof of that.

What if they had played their league game on the saturday and still lost? Would we have succeeded in staying up with a hard fought point, or would it still have been down to their failure? The fact is that once we had all played the same amount of games, we were mathematically safe. WE got ourselves those points. WE succeeded.

Depends what you mean by that doesn't it. If you're on about succeeding United style then yes. But if you're on about getting to where WBA are for example, then don't forget that after beating us 3-0 they went and lost 4-0 to Norwich. Not exactly doing it week-in, week-out. The fact of this league is that there are teams in the top half of the table who have still lost more games than they have won. If we had a season where we won more games than we lost - now that would truly be a remarkable achievement.

I never said he was, and I don't think we would have to break the bank. I would only be happy about signing him for £4-6million and on a lot lower wages than has been reported. Also, he didn't take Blackburn down, he left them well before the end of the season.
