I am devastated for Adkins, really I am...but I still believe we can stay up, and I remember these exact reactions (although I'll accept on a lower scale) when Adkins replaced Pardew. As I said before - if this "disgusting, ridiculous" managerial change works out half as well as the last one, we'll be flying.

Similar to you, as angry as I am from Nigels point of view I can sort of understand why Cortese has made this decision (even if I don't agree with it). I don't think we should believe for one second there is any underlying reason to this other than progression - Cortese sees this as the next step, Adkins did nothing wrong. And as angry and confused as I am, I feel compelled to point out that this thread was happening almost word for word when Pardew was sacked and Adkins replaced him...

In all honesty this new bloke might do very well for us. But it's really, really not fair on Adkins.
