Saint_Lard has been saying Adkins hasn't got a clue for 3 years, do you "almost" want him in as manager as well? I find it very hard to believe that those words came out of Merringtons mouth anyway. He might have said he disagreed with some of Adkins decisions, but to come out and state "he hasn't got a clue"? Unlikely.

Not "should" as there is no guarantee regarding team selection or performance when you buy a ticket. But it would be a decent gesture by the club.

Well, worst case scenario is that they make no impact - which is exactly what Lee and De Ridder were doing. Chambers looked good in pre-season IIRC, probably would have given him a start instead of Chaplow.
