In all honesty, I don't know how it worked either. All I know is we posted on the thread stating our interest - same as most other people - and then were contacted a couple of weeks after.

I locked the Puncheon rumour thread because there was another thread where the news was confirmed. HTH. And as Jimmy says, we're still relatively new. Ponty, Landrew et al were brilliant, but they had a couple of years at least to get used to things. Send us a PM if you ever need to question a decision.

Talking about the Puncheon rumour he posted, relevant. Going into depth about who he may be...? But fair enough. Take what I said as more of a suggestion.

Obviously know nothing about the second story, but I can tell you he wasn't wearing jeans and a white shirt. There is a video I saw on youtube of the players arriving at the ceremony and he is wearing black trousers and a black shirt - yes, his hands were in his pockets, but in all fairness there isn't much else he could have done with them.

Plenty of people have been able to debate sensibly on this thread, so even if the OP was hunting for a reaction it has backfired on him. As has already been said - twice - if you don't like a thread, don't post on it.

4-5-1 worked better last season because we had pace in the side. As for Adkins comments - he is going down in my estimation the more I hear him speak. Churning out the same phrases over and over without really making a point. Listening to Pardews interviews was interesting and insightful, listening to Adkins just winds me up. As for this; Sorry, but that is a load of waffle. Of course the formations was set up to try and win the game, but it didn't work - so there WAS an issue with it.

What a contradiction. What teams do you know that dominate the majority of games they play? Besides, I disagree with your general point - I think we dominated a lot more games than just the obvious 5 goal spankings.

Always annoys me when people say that. 4-3-3 to me means 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 strikers. So it wasn't.

If you don't care about what someone is saying or you think they are just trying to get a reaction, then why not ignore what they've said and NOT give them a reaction.
