http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/england/9144072/Premier-League-chairman-Dave-Richards-falls-into-Doha-hotel-fountain-pool-after-claiming-Fifa-stole-football.html Oh dear oh dear oh dear Dave Richards goes off on a public rant then falls in the Pool! And THEN he went on to Lecture the Qataris about their Booze Laws. The Qataris then join in and say The Chinese invented Football... So did UEFA/FIFA steal Football? Is this the man who should be running English Football Wasn't he linked to Storrie at Poorsmuff Why is he still there?

Although, TBF to them, IF we hadn't dropped all those points in DEC/JAN we'd have been around 8,976 points clear at the Top by now And we would have swapped wrist slitting for complacency

Yes indeedy

Saw them this evening - awesome Sent Future Mrs D_P out to have a look - was only visible from the middle of our street. My condolences to the family of the local who swerved to miss her and ploughed into the Trash can at 240kph.

Posted that concept about 2 pages ago;) All CHinny has to do is be 1 pound more than anyone else That statement DOES actually offer up some hope though. Property Speculators may be more interested in a pop )yeah yeah I know the Sports Use Covenant, piece of cake to get around just include a Fitness First in the Development and promise to mend the lifts on their Burj Al Arab rip off)

Oh. And another thing Nobody see the irony that these Airline Taxes were introduced and voted for by people who have their Air Travel paid for by you lot? When did an MEP last have to pay for an Airticket to go to work?
-
Tax the Rich! So they don't fly so much or go Business/Virgin Upper Class and pay less to the airlines unless they are "uber-rich or Bankers" So airlines have to put up their ticket prices at the back, and it's always the poor damned foot soldiers who get made redundant/have new working practices imposed on them So the poor dumb workers pay anyway. As they'll be paying extra for their "fresh fruit & Veg" airfreighted in from warmer climes during the winter months. Still going back to local grown will be so much more eco-friendly. Heating bills for Greenhouses, Diesel truck to market not withstanding of course

TBH I don't think Staggering cuts it as an adjective in this case Although you lot won't notice it as much as the rest of the planet, at least the Man City & Etihad BRANDS have become closely linked. While we may debate the morals of what Abu Dhabi Inc are doing there, they are at least "leveraging" "The Brand" for "Marketing Purposes" and it is a part of a much wider strategy to build an "Awareness of" and "Tourist Trade" into Abu Dhabi. If you like, their sleepiness was exploited by their upstart neighbour Dubai and the upstart now attracts many millions of Holiday makers a year. AUH is spending that money as part of a bigger game of catch-up. As an example, Abu Dhabi Airport reported passenger numbers UP 13.9% last year so the spend is reflected as a part of an integrated Brand Building Exercise and DOES actually bring "revenue" that is nothing to do with Football back into "The Nation's Coffers" But at poopey? What a marvellous brand they have built up eh? *insert favourite mobility scooter/barbed wire/Refreshment Van picture here*

Your argument is also seriously flawed. Petrol & Other Fuel Taxes vary by Country, depsite their best efforts the EU has not harmonised tax structures in every EU Nation yet. Unilaterally include a fuel tax on planes in the UK? Well there goes most of your Fruit & Veg from Supermarkets in the Winter. Most of your Flower Industry. The Electronics Gadget market will be badly hit, everyone ghaving to wait an extra 6 to 8 weeks after a new model is launched. Then of course the few planes left flying out of the UK would shedule aircraft to stop off in lower tax nations and over fill there, becoming less green (carrying more weight and of course reducing profits and jobs at UK Fuel Distribution and Airline Service companies. Another economic mastermind idea by UK Inc

That quote sort of made me remember the film they made of this year's Bubble http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAHjWGFEdH4&feature=player_detailpage

Don't worry, you are only as old as the Woman you feel. Back on thread. Starting to doubt the year of my first game it was 1-3 to the Mancs with Best Charlton & Law. My second game was 1-3 to Spuds with CHIVERS & Gilzean, but NO idea if it was the same season. I badgered some Builders who were doing some work at home to take me as my Dad was neve into Sport & stuff. They took a Milk Crate & we were under West Stand at the Archers End. From about 13-15 I must have stood next to so many of you lot in the Choco Boxes Best moment? Taking my (middle) son to The Dell for his 1st game, parking him on the crush barrier at the Milton Road end while he wore his new shirt with pride. No idea who that was against, but he has been hooked ever since. My most proud moment of him? He took his (younger Brother) (who was brainwashed by ex wife & her ST holder Father to become a Scouse supporter) to see the Saints poopey Cup game and he managed to instil "an interest" in Saints in Youngest (who also enjoyed the Palace game over Xmas) My second best moment was taking my Daughter to Wembley for her first ever football match - ZDS Cup Final when she was about 8 or 9 and she gave the lads in the Pub before the game sh1t for not singing enough.
