  1. Sure that the way our front linbe are playing the Barnsley defence will make a Boob sooner rather than later
  2. Well tonight's versions are soft & succulent and wonderfully juicy. Think it was the rubbing Olive oil in before giving them some heat
  3. Disaster. The Grilled Chicken Breasts taking longer to cook than I had planned. Gonna be sprinting up & down stairs for 1st 10 mins of the game
  4. Should be fine today. My interent is working fine. (For those not ITK, that was the reason we didn't win on Tuesday) Been a very strange weekend so far, 23C currently and no idea if my stomach can face any OSH today, keeping eyelids open is a pretty tough ask ATM
  5. You guys MAY want to bookmark this. http://liveonsat.com/LJ_foot_b_english.php Pretty good guide to what is on where in the world
  6. Strangely. Already got into 3 ruckus's tonight. Seen two great gigs and stolen some random peeps's 200 quid Vodka Bottle Kit. Think I may stay in tomorrow Note - The ruckus's was me being protective at a Testosterone fuelled evening & the Vodka - well their fault for asking me to look after it. I did. But when they didn't come back after 2 hours..... Strangely, that ws the 1st time in 19 years here that I ever got dragged in to weird stuff like that. Ho hum. Interestingly Chicks seem to like you when you Protect them.
  7. What hacks ME off about this is all he has to do is "keep" his job to the end of Parliament and he will be entitled to a 65k Relocation allowance when he (rightly) gets kicked out by his voters Anyone else getting into a public ruckus in a bar in UK would NEVER get THAT from their employer (or a Job again), so big eye on the Labour Party now to ensure he gets booted out before the next election. (Which IF that happens he'd ONLY pick up a 32k relocation allowance. God Bless Democracy eh?
  8. Just back from Sandance Dubai. Jeez. Bit of Blighty on the Beach. been here 19 years and never had a scrap. 2 night I had 3. Won 2 with "The Look" and one with the theatrical arm pull back. That is SO wrong. The main event was Snow Patrol. 1st ever gig I have seen here where the entire crowd had already lost the plot (thanks to the all day boozing on a Friday culture here) Was sort of a Glasto on Testosterone. Band were superb. WAY better than the Duran sisters last night. Atlantis & Virgin Holidays offer packages for those from UK who fancy getting shredded & aggressive. Next up in April is Kaiser Chiefs & Armand Van Buren Totally THE most random night out I have ever had in this weird town, and the women? Jeez lads - SuperMikey would not know where to look. Us Old Farts? Just bring a CPR machine with you. Eric? We are Sooooooo going next month Dude
  9. Ah, the joy of democracy. Appoint "legislators" who have nothing to do all day except Legislate and achieve targets. And then let Jobsworth's implement them. Would be interesting to know how many new laws are passed in UK each year - Parish Rules, City Rules, National Rules, EU rules... And the important ones get buried or delayed because of it. Quantity over Quality perhaps? Would be interesting to know how many laws passed in one year v number of old laws taken away....
  10. Tonight. I have nothing to add. I just saw Duran Duran singing a mix of Girls on Film & Relax Keep up the good work peeps, it's gonna take me a while to get over that moment
  11. Right. May have mentioned I'm off to see Snow Patrol Calvin Harris & M People 2mro about a zillion times BUT Late this PM mate called up had a spare ticket to see Duran Duran tonight. So had a few before setting out, heard Simon Le Bon wasn't the world's greatest frontman But. Have to say. Absolutely loved it great gig. Anyone over 40. If they are coming your way, get the throat lozenges out, have a bucket of beers and go sing-a-long Vid uploading may try post l8r
  12. 53 live in Al Safa in Dubai (since forever it seems) 1st game 1967 v Spurs at the Dell Cannot for the life of me remember 1st away game Chapel with ST Mates when I get back home
  13. Good article That should see TBH & Kitson alright to the end of the season then Always the poor foot soldiers
  14. Past week or so has seen a change. The infection of this thread by the phew has seen a difference in tone. They still lurk but now only come out to bite. Those of us who believed that their Punishment should fit their crimes are starting to be vindicated, they are clearly starting to hurt. Of course, the real fans felt this some years ago and most stayed away. Seems with the announcements that they will struggle on until at least the end of the season, so the pain stays longer. Oh good. One other funny? The way their "plight" has been worked out by the media, and how they have been ignored in the rush to cover all angles of the demmise of what is an ACTUAL football club, with a REAL global fan base I'm still "glad" they got away with it for these past years. Just imagine - if they had stopped wallowing in Self pity TWO years ago and re-formed Plan B they'd have been getting close to sensible non-League football by now. But oh no, they all waited for another crook to come along. WTFILN
  15. Happy Gilmour Kelly's Heroes Mike Bassett England Manager Then any of the current crop Superbad, Scott Pilgrim v The World, Horrible Bosses, The Hangover, Hall Pass A new one? Then Johnny English Reborn for the fight scene in HK & the Health & Safety moment in the Castle alone
  16. A tourist in a pub in Florida asks an Irishman sitting at the bar, "Why do Scuba divers always fall backwards into the water off their boats?" To which the Irishman replies: "If they fell forwards they'd still be in the fookin' boat."
  17. Amazing where people will turn to for the chance of some hope. Shouldn't you be riting leters to rich peeple in yor spare tyme to make them buy your club so your bestest fans can fiddle some more points off them wot try to do things rite
  18. Tri-Stars Look on the bright side. They replaced VC-10's
  19. An Acer Laptop. Jeez what a crock of... And it blew up a month out of warranty. Still karma's a b1tch http://www.microscope.co.uk/news/vendor-news/acer-fraud-complaint-piles-legal-pressure-on-lanci/ CEO gave all his marketing work to his wife... And I am REALLY happy with my Samsung replacement This was posted as my contribution to this thread so that I would not post about buying the ex a double ended dxxxo and suggesting she invited some friends round. Oh
  20. Think it is pretty clear this thread will last into the end of the season. Oh the Joy of the pain of uncertainty for the phew as they head off for their summer vacations on the pebbles by Southsea Pier
  21. That explains the PP's then
  22. But all indications are that what has come out so far is just the tip of an Iceberg. It may well be that RFC could set a new standard for "Cheating" that even the phew would find hard to match. BUT the other point is that RFC ONLY need to pay football creditors in full IF they want to play in Europe next year (providing they get their accounst signed off = unlikely) So a buyer up there can pick up the pieces and make the squad redundant. poopey on the other hand IF they find a nug have to keep paying Kanu & TBH et al
  23. What a nice idea. So we're all invited then? Great I'll get the gang together and get the shirt out the wash and join them on their big day to show solidarity. Anyone else up for the trip? C'mon, we could get a few hundred along to show them how much they mean to us... And they'd have to make us welcome.... Which WOULD be the funny side Sha lala lala lalala
  24. Bobby Gould. God he was an object of abuse. The yoof should look at that and see what Real Football used to be about - luverly pitch (compared to many) Stadium still looks better than Nottarf Krap I was there - but way up the back But recognised one of the 1.25 crew lol What a mullet
