Yeah, but what a bloody great trip that was!

Dear FF We've had a big fall. It was at Walsall. HTH The squad is good enough with ONE injury per position, it is not good enough with TWO injuries per position. I like the point that Gobern will develop with game time even if I am not sure he is yet a match winner. I would certainly be worried to see him start in the next couple of weeks, so a case for improving CM is valid. Are there any more Chaplow's out there though? He seems to be a perfect (ie talented & committed but inconsistent) L1 player. It is all very good saying we need to get a loan player in but WHO? A month's loan of a PL starlet? Well we got one from Arsenil and never saw him. We are talking about LOAN players so unless a club has financial problems that means looking at CCC or PL. But many OTHER teams are also looking the same way. Could we REALLY bring in a PL starlet and guarantee him 13 games to the end of the season? No IMHO which means they would choose somewhere else

We all know the real reason is the whole White Witch debacle. Was trying to get one snuck in to the bench during the last Forum Match but had a bad moment in the car on the way to the stadium, she put her hand on my knee & I turned into a lay-by

I expect that we already know the answer to most of that... Walsall will be playing L1 football next year, we hope NOT to. So the decision will be how much for the ST's based on the number of games and the budget for next year. But, on the subject of ST's a couple of questions that COULD be asked 1) Is the new technology now available and ready to install to allow ST's to be swiped on entry to the ground which leads to 2) Does this mean the club will now be able to re-instate an installment plan for fans next year As for the other questions they should still be asked as is although I thikn we know the Deano one is All Saints Day

Or losing in the play off semi final on penalties having spent everything you have on a wild gamble to go back up. No sensible football culb would try and do that would they oh

For the price of a manky pie or burger in the ground you can have a very nice Fish & Chip supper on the way TO the ground and still get a quick pint in. Of course those who have to rush from work won't have eaten since lunchtime in mid-week But rushing for a Pie or Burger at 3:45pm on a Saturday? FFS peeps

Damn double threads... Lost my rant. I want to know what we have done so badly wrong that our Chairman turns into Mike Ashley

OMG he's turning into Mike Ashley -
Leave before the end if we are getting soundly sadly and depressingly beaten as in "I can't take any more of this" is acceptable & think I have done it once. Rushing to get a drink? Well if it's a soft drink that just shows lack of foresight to take one in with you before the game. Wanting to get a pint at HT? Don't understand that at all. It is gnats' p1ss after all. In the old days going down to have a smoke yeah OK. But the thing is that is what some people like to do - fair play to them. Not my choice but no law against it. But what I really do NOT understand is the bigger thing here. I see it all the time. Be it at concerts, football, major events etc.... people have paid to go and watch something special. And so they stand there and talk about Eastenders/Send Texts/Talk on the mobile/moan to everyone within 50yards/Post on Football Forums. In fact they tend to do anything EXCEPT notice that there is something else going on in the world. That just freaks me out. Saints are playing football, you paid to go to the game and you can't be bothered to WATCH? That really annoys me because so many others out there would love to be able to go, can't becuase of distance or money or health. It just seems wrong that some people so completely miss out on life OR are so damned selfish and unaware of other people in the world that they think it is OK to stop and stand still and block the view of 30 or 40 other people when a chance is created. No awareness of this world, what the fook are you doing on it, sod off to Mars where you belong

A very short one, but with friends like this...

3 goals scored. Hope we've left some in the tank for Saturday. results results results at the moment. So we didn't play well again. the good news is that we still have the chance to get better. Lallana sounded like he had a big influence on the game and is getting back to his best again after the injury lay off so hopefully more to come from him Saints fans at the game jittery and negative, wow there is a REAL shock. Not like we haven't discussed THAT issue to death for the past umpteen years, if we go up in 2nd place they will still spend all of next season moaning that we should have been champions and are rubbish
-
Oh dear, 'ow sad, never mind
