Nice one Granty Shame as always that the antics of pcfc ALWAYS means some other poor sod gets screwed. They nicked the Bin their lad uses to take the water to clean the loos. The replacement they gave him didn't work so well Oh and archive footage recently found shows that despite all the bravado, pcfc were having money & plumbing issues when they had a backbone of Internationals in their squad. The lads did seem to enjoy the after match bath facilities though

(Although to me it is not a surprise, think he has shown for some time he would make the step up some on here haven't & that's fair but he had a great streak last season and did look the business back then) Was thinking the same last few games. Just imagine a JRod with the self belief of an MLT in his prime, he always seemed to play better when he had a consistent run in the team. I REALLY hope that this call up and (HOPEFULLY) some game time is that final spark that he needs. On a downer note. I noticed Woy actually picked 28 players for two matches. I really hope JRod's run out (IF he gets one) is not the last 15/20 mins against Germany after they've torn us a new one in the first half.

Was yesterday the moment that the idea of a Golden Generation suddenly became possible? We know the second string weren't good enough to beat a poor Sunderland team. We know to challenge at the top we need strength in depth. So get rid of the has beens and never will be's and look at where we could be if we were in the same situation next year. Chambers, Targett, Turnbull, Stephens, Reed, Gallagher, Rowe, Sinclair have all shown glimpses of an ability, JWP & Shaw are now showing in the first team week in and week out. Add one or two more break through nippers from the next year group... Those kids are showing that they could be the makings of one of the finest and most technically gifted squads in the League. Any thoughts of the CL this year are bonkers, but with the improvement in the likes of JWP & JRod in just 10 games this year, those nippers continuing to get Capital One Game time next year. Maybe we could look back on last night as we will be doing in the coming days at some of the old SRL won't cut it in the Championship, AL is rubbish & JRod will never make it threads.. Maybe last night was a sensible part of the plan. After all, while Fergie was a magician, he built United's legacy on a Golden Generation and some lunatic imports... Shame the Jonas Brothers split up, they've probably still got the Stadium Expansion plans we'll need to dust off next summer
