I'm depressed. It's 7pm already and no fitteh's have knocked on my door asking if I want a trick or just a treat. Actually, nobody has knocked on my door today. Perhaps I shouldn't have put that picture of Bear's Gran's house up there

This video clip is NOT for people who have a fear of heights.

Haha that's like our Jazz Festival next Feb we have Jamie Cullum, The Wanted, Olly Murs, Colbie Caillat - like since when did that lot represent the best in global Jazz? BUT I have to say the line up for that gig on The Common will actually put on a great night ABC & Howard Jones were part of an 80's tour here last year and both were outstanding on stage - 45 minutes of Lexicon of Love live is worth anybody's entry fee alone - Heaven 17 had a great female vocalist and their re-visit of Temptation was a show stopper. Saw the The Real Thing a decade ago - that's your voice screwed for a week after because you WILL bloody well sing along and THEN you'll all be holding onto your nuts to g et the right key for Caribbean Queen. It shouldn't be advertised as Rock but it WILL be a great night of sing along stuff. Just a shame you're missing Rick Astley from that line up

Yeah, only outfit that would book them for here would be Sandance. At least the lads that run it TRY and get more focused and what I'd call "obscure" acts (by local definition). I mean FFS only about 300 turned out to see The Wombats, The Automatic, Ocean Colour Scene, Super Furry Animals, and The Human league & about 20 other Guitar/Dance type bands a few years back Doubt they pick a big name like them for the NYE bash which would sell out 16,000 tickets even if I was the headline doing my Karaoke Classics. Hopefully they have a stop over on their way back from Australia early next year and can fit into an SD in Feb or March The two main protagonists, Done & Flash (aka Live Nation & AEG) stick to the tried and trusted BIG BRAND gigs these days. While it is great seeing huge names, I do pine for the days when Sponsors would put up the money for smaller gigs, everything now has to be Guinness Book of Records entry size affairs. Also it's a big black hole after the F1 in Abu Dhabi, no big names on the radar yet which is disappointing. Probably spent all their money on Tiger & Rory's appearance money for the 25 Anniversary Golf bah in January

Glad to have been of assistance. If only somebody once upon a time had been able to save their Corporate Overview Powerpoint Presentation for Posterity (Obviously as mentioned in the article Eddie Mitchell would have a copy and no doubt someone in the mess that is Rangers FC in Scotland does. Once the key is thrown away and their "friends" have slipped back into their Night Vision Goggles, perhaps it will resurface Wonder how much his McLaren will fetch in the Liquidation auction? - - - Updated - - - Glad to have been of assistance. Why being a striker at SFC is tougher than most

I got some stick here and elsewhere for pointing out that in the England game against Ukraine Rickie was our best defender - worked REALLY hard to close down their two CB's forcing them to resort to hoofball. Something Rooney and the others would not have had the brains (or legs) to do. -
Hooray! I have my first attack of Flu in 5 years! Now all I have to do is make it last until Saturday Morning. That way I DON'T have to drive to Abu Dhabi to see JayZ

OMG. I never had you down as a man of taste GS. (For the others on here I have owned 3 bottles of the above, all given to me by women)

I see what you did there But no. He's in China this week earning enough for the bar bill from a show piece round of golf with Rory for when he comes out with the Dubai Saints Massive for our 40 point party in January Don't worry, TMS will be getting all the exclusives. Spudders & The Bear can't wait. Even working on getting him to do a cameo in the next Hannah Vid just for Tokes

Movie opens 6 months into The Enterprises' 5 year mission. Kirk (with beard) is stroking the blonde hair of that Science Officer Chic when Spock looks up from sitting on Uhura's lap to say "Captain, I have detected an anomaly on the sensors it seems to be some kind of Worm........." Cut to explosions, Red Shirts being sucked into space or horribly disfigured and Enterprise emerges into orbit around a deserted M Class planet. After a scan they detect an object so send an Away Team down. First Red Shirt touches the Circular Object and is instantly vapourised. Scotty fires his phaser at it and it shatters. From the dust Harrison Ford steps up and says WTF took you guys so long. His conversation is cut short as Uhura calls Kirk and says there is another Triangular shaped Ship entering orbit and has asked us to surrender in the name of the crackle hiss static. At which point the Extension/Media Centre at SMS emerges from behind a hill Yeah, that's about it

Both Clyne & Shaw SHOULD get called up and some Friendly game time. Both are pretty much England's 3rd choice FB's at the moment. We saw against Poland that IF we lose any of the first choice players we DO need a back up that is NOT Smalling as it disrupts the new pressing style that Wow is trying to introduce. I would NOT pick either ahead of the incumbents for Brazil but IF one of the first choice pairs gets injured THEN Clyne or Shaw have to go. As for Lallana. I stick with my criticism of him last season in that he was taking 2 touches most of the time. At the start of this season he was taking 1.5 touches. It WAS frustrating because it was stopping him from being an outstanding player. Now, with an injury-free run of games and the crazy level of confidence throughout the team he is now almost taking only a half touch. Like JRod & SRL, he is not only gifted, he is also an intelligent footballer so he brings so much more to a side than the likes of Ashley Young or even Theo Walcott. If Adam is NOT picked for the friendlies it would be a travesty. JRod is a damned fine footballer, but he REALLY needs to start banging in the goals before I could argue to have him in ahead of Rooney/Sturridge or Wellbeck or even SRL. Think with him it is a confidence issue as well. Wonder how he would have kicked on in the next couple of weeks IF that Scissor kick had gone in. So yes, Woy needs to keep SRL in the squad Lallana must be in on merit and Shaw & Clyne need to be in there to get experience IN CASE of injuries to thers at the end of the season.
