Obscurely I have now caught two of Discovery Channel's series about Giant Squid. 1st was some blokes off the Azores with a home made underwater camera and tonight's was the Full Monty with David Attenborough about some bloke in Japan. They were worryingly interesting. I feel I am now an expert on Scientists who could out nutjob us nutjobs on the PTS for their weird and obscure obsession to be the first to film a real life Giant Squid. (Look NO Spoilers!) Anyone know a good Shrink? or should I stick to the Food Network?

I feel your pain BTF. Rule 1 Physio Rule 2 Physio and then do more of your own Physio as fast as possible. I buggered my left knee Cartlidge whatever 20 years ago and it was 2 years before going for an exploratory Op which did something inside to tighten it up, thing was moving here I never did the Physio. And of course 15 years later I do the Cartlidge because the muscles had all been in the wrong places. Anyway now I am one accidental wrong twist away from being completely ****ed, even a gentle tweak wipes me out for a week or more. IF ONLY is my motto on this as now the only way I would ever get back on a ski slope or play any sport other than golf I would need a whole new bionic knee, and in a land where you have only Private Medical Insurance ain't nobody ever going to pay for that kind of pre-exisiting. Absolutely daft and like a good farce doesn't split your sides all the way just keeps the stupid twists coming and the smirking eventually breaks out into guffaws. Have to wait a week to see Gravity Imax (hope it's still on) as way too busy this week

In an article about the Eng Poland game, (either the Fail or Torygraph) the Jouno commented that England had played a much higher tempo than usual. He pointed that the 4-2-3-1 formation called for more energy and closing down (and pressing) He also pointed out that most of the England team were blowing in the second half and hardly had the legs to complete the lap of honour. He then compared what we are now trying to do with Germany & Spain, he felt we have a chance with this new method but did NOT believe the players would increase their fitness enough in time for the WC. Now compare that with Saints who play a similar system and many of the PL players we play against showed they were not up to that level of fitness and we can see from our stats and from the effort on the pitch that the Football Development team have cottoned onto something that other PL teams have not. (Which COULD be another strong reason for Woy to look at Lallana & Clyne in the upcoming friendlies) We ARE fitter and Morgan for one sure looks a lot stronger this year. Now, IF we could only introduce Composure & Finishing into our improvement plans we could take over THE WORLD

OK Rihanna last night. Are you lot ready for THE BIG NEWS? Her Bewbs are like TINY I mean in all the proper pics I've seen of her they were like perfectly formed but oh no, she was wearing a tight white vest and it was like hot and humid and without any Infrastructure they are just on the disappointing side of less than normal. Heartbreak. First hour of the show was, in honesty, pants. She slipped in a couple of hits and had dancers and good musicians and stuff but seems in her new stuff she cannot decide whether she is a heavy Hip Hop artist or trying to become a singer with a heavy metal rock band. Was kind of just meh. After an hour we decided the scores were Britney 0 Rihanna 1 (last minute own goal saved by the fact that Rhi (to my surprise) was actually singing not miming (a la Britney) J Lo 3 Rihanna 0 The Killers 12 All female stars 0 BUT then she did a final half hour of her old classics, did them bloody well and here was when we could truly see she was into it, she really was singing (no mime artist cracks up in songs) Hell, when she sang Stay she actually did CRY (and she wasn't picking nasal hairs to do it) So at least we came away happy that it had been better than a night on Bullfrogs & Karaoke (which had been plan B for my Birthday) So, IF any of you get dragged along by kids as she wanders round the world, stick yourself in the bar for the first 55 minutes or so, then get in and sing your face off for the last 35 minutes. SOOOOOOOOO disappointed by the Bewbs though

Thing that worries me most about this non story is that it has leaked to the Press at all. The ONLY people in that Dressing Room would have been the players & officials. That means someone in the heart of the England Team leaked this to the Press. So someone in the heart of the team thinks this is more important to be in the papers than to be dealt with internally. That kind of activity REALLY does not bode well for the harmony & team spirit heading up to a month away together in the US & Brazil next summer. (Hopefully it was Danny Wellbeck who did it and so he can be dropped asa farking p and replaced by a footballer)
