Denmark can't get out of their half, only a matter of time before England score I reckon
-
Is Matterface going to spend the rest of the game jizzing over Grealish?
-
Great free kick, shite from Pickford.
-
Amazing lead out. None of the other teams had the numbers to do anything. If he breaks the record on the Champs Elysees I fear that Carlton Kirby might explode. Double Ventoux tomorrow, going to have to work from home I think.
-
I wonder if that MP who got all riled up by the team taking the knee is still boycotting England games?
-
That was a Froome at the Giro style ride where he just blew everyone away. I was glad Teuns held on to win the stage. Not sure what anyone else can do other than push him off! The only way he can lose now is with a bad crash.
-
Why did over 8000 people vote for the odious Galloway?
-
Classic Cavendish sprint that one. He's certainly back on form. Hope he can get over the mountains and pick up some more wins on the way to Paris.
-
They do have them, someone got killed after being knocked off one by a car. He wasn't on one of the council ones.

Worth using that so the people who don't like him can simply change magic to tragic. Reckon we could channel out inner Lionel Richie's here. Perraud, is it Saints you're looking for? We can see it in your eyes, we can see it in your smile You're all we've ever wanted and our arms are open wide Cause you know just how to play And you know just what to do Let us start be saying we love you

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/dance-clubs-reopen-no-covid-tests-lockdown-vaccine-passports-b943401.html Music venues and nightclubs won't have to test people once restrictions ease and no need to show passport or proof of negative test according to the article above. This is huge if true. I can't wait to get back into packed venues and watch a load of gigs.

He has a chance tomorrow too. I absolutely love the guy, really hope he can win another stage. Such a mad race so far that today was quite strange in it's normality (apart from Pogacar probably overachieving)
-
I'm sure he'll win some over after the inevitable 3 points they'll get on the opening day of the season. I agree, he's a good, solid manger who has won trophies and plays decent football. He should troll their fans now, would like to see a comment when they play at Anfield to say he's looking forward to returning to his spiritual home.

Looks like he's about to break out into a dance there. What tune though? It's pride, so maybe something traditional like Erasure or would he go more contemporary like Hancock did when he said he liked Grime and throw a few shapes to a Sophie techno track? The rules at the moment are even more mental than they've ever been. It's fine to lob a load of fans into a football stadium and let them all jump on each other after a goal and then cram together on a train but you can't stand outside socially distanced to watch your kids sports day. I don't have a sports day to watch but it's a good example of how batshit the rules are. According to this article 15% of Scottish fans at Wembley have tested positive. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jun/30/surge-in-scottish-covid-cases-raises-euro-2020-safety-concerns I'm firmly in the easing of restrictions camp because of the effectiveness of the vaccines but the current rules are all over the place.

Wow, they really are anti him. I knew some were but it it's almost everyone.

I still go mental when Saints score though, if I was old and boring wouldn't it apply to that too?

I thought the England game started at 8pm and only realised it was 5pm when people started leaving work early but I'd arranged a meeting and missed the first 20 minutes. Turns out I didn't even vaguely celebrate when England scored either goal. Weird, because even though I'm a bit apathetic about international football I thought that would get me excited but it didn't. Conversely I then watched the Tour de France highlights after not knowing the result and jumped up out of the chair, fist pumped and cheered when Cavendish won the sprint.

Didn't we take Pochettino from a relegated or nearly relegated Espanyol? I'm not comparing Parker's managerial quality to Poch, however at the time we did appoint a young manager from a badly achieving team and it worked out pretty well.
-
He's not been great but he is an incredible player. Also he didn't miss the penalty, the keeper saved it. Not as if he booted it over or anything.
-
Best football double header since the Oldham v Man Utd and Palace v Liverpool semis.
-
Amazing game. What a day of football.
-
Tyldsley is the worst. If that was "fabulous weight of pass" it would have gone to Mbappe rather than the keeper.

Has no team ever come from a goal down with half an hour left?
