  1. That I'm afraid is an example of how poor the canteen culture is at the Met. Who the fuck would think it's ok to take and distribute photos of murdered people. The Met has got a lot of work to do.
  2. Hypo and Turkish going on about Soggy having them on ignore.
  3. Arguing with less then 10 people on a niche message board that is visited by no one, whilst having a poo at work, is hardly going to some great extent. As for ego trip 😅 how do you get that arguing with anonymous blokes on a football forum.
  4. aintforever has been circled by the pack, he fends one off whilst the others are biting at his arse. No one is changing their mind here, I think we all need to agree to disagree. Some of us like the knee, others don't, some think its powerful, others don't, some think the players are forced to do it, others don't. It's just like the poppy all over again.
  5. Only because thst argument was well and truly beaten a long time ago.
  6. https://www.brentfordfc.com/news/2021/august/brentford-fc-statement---club-confirms-position-on-taking-the-knee-before-matches/ But hey they are forced to do it by the Premier League and free not to elsewhere, despite this joint statement in the summmer https://www.efl.com/news/2021/august/efl-commits-support-for-knee-and-league-wide-anti-discrimination-activity/ All clubs and players can choose to do it or not.
  7. I see the Premier League have now lent on Quinton de Kock.
  8. You're just reiterating what I said, people/papers/media were interested in his reasons, so he/his club were asked questions about it. This is football, everything is over discussed. I'm sure people did criticise, they always do about everything. But he hasn't been dropped, booed or hounded for it, I didn't even notice on Tuesday. Just google Brentford and you will find out.
  9. So what you are saying, is that there was no great reason to privatise the water companies, what a surprise.
  10. People were interested, that's all. He wasn't hounded or booed. Things aren't as bad as you would like to believe.
  11. I was answering a question to name a white player... Regarding QdK, we don't know if he was dropped. All we know is he was asked to do it and then he didn't play. We don't know any of the details of the request, the reasoning behind it, why he didn't want to do it, why he didn't play etc. But what we do know is that the QdK incident isn't a precursor for some woke dystopia that some are trying to imply.
  12. QPR don't kneel, Alonso doesn't and no one has chased them out of town.
  13. You are trying to have a 'see I told you moment'. I suspect that when people on here, who you mockingly call experts, were talking about the knee in football and in this country. Which, has in the main, been very positive, no one has been forced to take the knee and no one has been knocked for not doing it. An incident has popped up with SA cricket, with an immense back story and you jump on it as a gotcha moment. Well done you.
  14. The big lie years ago, was that the water board had to be privatised to facilitate the badly needed investment. Well that's been shown to be wrong. The system before was underfunded because things like water were low down the government's priority list, the same thing happened to the trains. The simple solution, was not privatisation but to ring fence their income. All that lovely money spunked on dividends could have been spent on infrastructure.
  15. So one organisation at one game requested their team to take the knee and you are using that to tarnish the thousands of issue free voluntary kneelers. Neither side has issued a statement yet, so know one knows what went on. But from a country with appaling race relations and an organisation that also has a poor record, suggests there is more to this than wokism gone mad.
  16. Sadly I agree, Labour are currently miles away from being capable of winning.
  17. Don't you worry, we will.
  18. We deserved something out of that. What a brilliant game, the end was something to be a part of, it takes the edge of losing. Broken down in Sidcup with a two hour wait for the pickup truck. Fuck it.
  19. Unless they are a footballer
  20. That banner is excellent, at least someone in football is saying the truth.
  21. It's not the large size of a number, it's the randomness that makes something arbitrary, lol.
  22. Your last paragraph is a bit of a leap into the unknown.
  23. Yeah Tino was knackered for the last 15 yesterday.
