The climate has always naturally fluctuated along with ghgs, and some people are hoping to prove that our current climate change is more natural than man made. But that misses the point, regardless of the cause of climate change, if reducing man made carbon emissions can help mitigate or slow down climate change, regardless of the underlying cause, then we have to spend the money and do it.

Bought a building via a holding company to avoid stamp duty. Normal sort of shit for those with money, not illegal.

I think you are right. Before JWP got sent off, I thought we could hold out for a point, afterwards it felt that they would produce a good chance and take it. We looked really vulnerable when they got the ball behind us on our left hand side, the switch ball for their second goal was very good.

We offered very little going forward and it was just a matter of time before Chelsea got their breakthrough and just a matter of time before they scored again after our equaliser.

It's pointless the ref going to the monitor, as soon as he gets called there you know he going to change his mind. The twats have no mind of their own, they are so predictable.

Feel for you and your wife at this awful time. Your family and all the positive relationships you make in the short time you have on this planet is all that really matters. Take care mush.

It will be interesting to see what the next few days brings for Dick, it could die down but equally it could really blow up. If any more revelations come out about his behaviour, incidents or vetting mistakes then the narrative against her could build. This Whatsapp group that Cousins was on could widen the focus on the canteen culture and how poorly that has been managed over the years. All depends if the papers want to persue the story and what they dig up, but if they find something I think she will find it hard to survive it.

A new word learnt, I'll be shouting that at my midfield tonight when they fail to pick the runners up again. Brilliant with the ball shit against the ball 😉

Very sad, far too young.

That's sheep, he was talking about sheep.
-
There's a very thin line between calling someone a sheep and thick.
-
There is no shortage of fuel but a shortage of delivery drivers, that's a fact. I thought you brexiteers didn't like calling the public thick. There is no easy way to stop panic buying it's just human nature, like a cat running off when they hear a loud clap. Fuckin thick non free thinking sheep cats.
-
There are two issues here, petrol delivery shortages and panic buying. The panic buying was prompted by media reporting and social media and blown up by the Suns headline on Friday. But the reporting didn't just happen out of thin air, a shortage of deliveries has been happening for months, deliveries not turning up and arriving days later, this then got to the point where it was harder to paper of the cracks. The reporting started when two suppliers declared they could not fulfill all their deliveries. One then leads to the other.
-
Did those other countries have any petrol stations close at all? The panic buying was prompted by real closures in the first place.
-
So there is a shortage of drivers all over Europe, but only one country where the forecourts are empty.

It is true about the press, they have been banging the looney left drum for decades. But as Blair, peace be upon him, said you just have to deal with that. The hard left stuff has to be pushed to the fringe, dwarfed by more normal politics. Unfortunately the looney stuff is more front and central to the party at the moment making it easy for the press. KS is trying to move the party but the shadow of JC still looms large. There is a battle at heart of the party and has been for decades, the hard left really believe it's their party and the right wingers are cukoos trying to take it over. Some even believe KS, Mandelson etc are neoliberal infiltrators sent in as part of a conspiracy. They believe if only the evil press allowed people to truly see the socialist offer in all its glory, they would all rush to vote for it, whilst chanting oh Jeremy Corbin. I don't see how this gets resolved, the trouble is each side of the party really doesn't want to win an election whilst the other side is in charge and at the moment Kier is too wooden to build a momentum big enough to drown out the hard left. There is talk of a hard left split, that might do it, but I can't see it happening. -
The pharmaceutical company's with the massive government financial backing have pulled it off, that's for sure. But it was the only game in town, even for the conspiracy riddled idiot. I wonder how many times in the last five years in light of new revelations you have had to double down and lie to yourself. You are truly a top trump solider, he would be proud of you, if he actually gave a shit.

I see Mo Salah broke Roger Hunts record last night for the quickest 100 goals for Liverpool. Poignant timing.

You're mixed up again, there was no alarm when Trump was given ronapreve. The alarm was for him advocating a tremendous light and washing the inside of your body. Then there was a bit of mocking when he did get ill because he didn't go for the crazy alternative therapies he was advocating for the man in the street, but straight for proper regular medicine, you know the type developed and by those awful experts and scientists. It's good that this treatment is now available for everyone and not just shit American presidents.

It really isn't that big a deal. It was a forum that's whole purpose is to seek the views of as many different people as possible, so it uses techniques to achieve that. That's all it is, it's not some big leftist woke signalling, its a simple listening technique. There is plenty of evidence to show some people from some parts of society are more submissive in these settings and have to be encouraged, that should be welcomed and not seen as a problem. So as part of a long question session where the floor is open to everyone, a small portion of the time is set aside for specific groups. Not a big deal, it should just be seen as part of the inclusively offer just like a sign language person. A teacher at my school, always used to ask a question that had to be answered by someone at the back, no big deal. I was at a baby thing with my pregnant wife and the facilitator asked were there any questions from the men, no big deal. Were they right to help the quiet groups to speak up or were they signalling looney lefties. On a side point, it's interesting how the press love to report on the fringe stuff at the Labour conference but never the fringe stuff at the tory conference. -

Why and how would they get rid of benefits? -

I have some sympathy for the £15/hr policy. We need a living wage where people don't need to claim benefits whilst working. These benefits are seen as a subsidy to the worker when really they are a subsidy to the employer to enable them to make a nice profit. -

The amount of times trans rights takes up compared to the amount of people affected by it is completely out of sync.
